Pros/Cons
Pros
- Easy to use, easy to setup, tools I use were pretty easy and straight forward. Clean interface and originally had great support.
- It's a powerful and flexible networking solution for businesses of all sizes. Its ease of use and scalability make it an attractive option for many users.
- A GOOD PRODUCT WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT AND I ADD GREAT TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
Cons
- It is on a licensing deal. I would rather buy the application and devices and be done with it rather than worrying about figuring out licenses for everything as well.
- This equipment becomes worthless without a license. Still no SSL client VPN.
- No real features to manage the patch level of devices aside from manually pushing updates each time.
Pros
- Sales is great with the free trial. We have had some major interruptions due to COVID while evaluating and they have been great on extending it.
- ManageEngine customer service is amazing, they're very polite, helpful and responsive. The system itself works well, it has a lot of features and is relatively easy to navigate.
- The Android Kiosk feature is particularly impressive, offering robust capabilities and mature implementations that enhance device control and application management.
Cons
- The lack of information in the staging process is a downfall. You can have 20 of the same hardware staged, with no information such as S/N or IMEI to identify the staged hardware.
- Application management per device is a bit restricted, as there was no way to uninstall/reinstall specific applications on specific devices, unless you create a profile around it.
- Very complicated interface... the german nationalisation is very poor.
