They have a clean and clutter free website. The basic account plan gives pretty good functionalities to create and publish multiple choice or open ended quizzes. The quiz question types are also customizable. The magic part comes when we conduct a quiz. The whole process is gamified to engage students and bring more interaction. Students gets rewards, power-ups etc like in an arcade game. On the quiz creator side, the real-time progress can be monitored. As the platform is mostly designed to be for academic purpose (apart from workplaces for employee and customer engagement), the admin gets a clear insight into the student data. An analytics is generated based on the student performance. Additionally, it can be integrated with existing LMS (Learning Management System) of schools and universities. Popular learning management platforms like Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology etc. can also be integrated with Quizizz. #### Cons Quizizz questions are highly customizable but a lot of options can sometimes confuse users. #### Reasons for switching to Wayground Google form was not a service that primarily focused on quizzes. It also gives the opportunity to make online classes not boring as there are features of this software that can be used as a game for the students that promotes healthy and positive competition, which leads to effective and efficient learning for the students.My favorite features include "multiple choice," "Reorder," "Match," and "Fill-in-the-blank" because it is helpful for recall or review session. I can create a quiz that will test the students to see whether they can still remember and fully understand those lessons that are taught to them so that I can see whether they are now ready for the next class. My other favorite feature is "Open-ended," since they are able to share their answers even though it is long. With this feature, I believe that it gives the students the impression that the class is inclusive and anything that is in their mind is welcome and heard.Lastly, "Poll" is also my favorite feature as it helps me to know what most of the class agreed with.In addition to all of this, there is also a good deal that they offer nowadays which is free upgrade to "SUPER," for 30 days in every successful invite of co-teacher. Secondly (from a teacher standpoint), the ability to see scores in the report (and in real-time during class-wide activities) as well as being able to download those reports allows educators to quickly and accurately identify areas of weakness in student learning - AND identifying poorly worded questions! Students are RARELY upset when using this learning tool and they are becoming more and more accustomed to digital work and self-check as teachers learn how to better utilize these kinds of tools. #### Cons Mostly that I'd have to pay for the 'Super' version... but at $5 a month, I'm seriously considering it! Don't know when (or if) we'll ever get back to 'normal', but I can see continuing to use QUIZIZZ as an invaluable learning/teaching tool. They like the music and the changing backgrounds that are dependent on the time of day and time of year. They especially like to play for points and try to earn their place on the leaderboard. The celebration at the end of a quiz is the best part for them. I like that I can keep my quiz reports forever and that I do not have to tally answers like I did in the past. It saves so much time, and I can see all my data right in the website. #### Cons In the past, I had to use other platforms to do short-answer questions and fill-in-the-blanks questions. I am so glad I can do that on Quizizz now! The students prefer it much better. However, it can be difficult to think of all possible spellings of a right answer so students can still get credit for their work. This gives me options on how I want to assess students. I also like how it ranks students by their score when I go to the grade book. I love, love, love the new AI features. Today, I made a quiz that only had 3 questions. I wanted to make it a little more substantial so I asked AI to add some similar questions and it did so perfectly. I make the quiz and then assign it to my classes, however some of the class’s data doesn’t show up under their class, but the main quiz. But, now I use it for quick assessments so I can see if my students have grasped concepts as we go along. I use Quizizz on a daily basis for review of different concepts that I am teaching in a virtual and traditional classroom setting. Because it is a gaming activity students relate quickly, and from a educational tool it teaches the concept of multiple choice activities and vocabulary recognition similar to a a multiple choice test. I set up my activities similar to a test where there is one correct answer and one tease answer. I also like the fact that I can post Quizizz to my Google Classroom where students can get practice on their own time. I often get notifications outside of class where students are engaged in learning while playing a game from home or on their mobile devices. #### Cons I don't like the limited time for assignments. I enjoy using it in the beginning and end of class, or as a homework study tool. #### Cons I think a leveling system would give it more of a game like experience. I enjoy the powerups, but there could be a few more. The kids really enjoy the themes and upgrades (keep them coming please). I had an idea where people could adapt a racing game into a Quizizz type game. Students are racing a car, and they are periodically stopped to answer a Quizizz question. If you adapt this idea, you can mail my check to my school or offer me a job, whichever you like.
