Pros/Cons
Pros
- Love that we can print even the smallest of labels for our smaller items. Print quality is superb and can be used with many different printers.
- Integrations is a great tool and are very powerful when wanting an action repeated easily. Librarian is a great feature to ensure label revs are tracked and managed properly.
- The features that I like the most about this software include: ease of use, functionality, great customer support, easy to setup and maintain.
Cons
- The feature that I disliked the most about this software are it's limited control of printer setting.
- I also had a bit of trouble setting the page format based on the printer. Once you choose a printer it's hard to change it from my experience, I ended up creating a new label altogether.
- Hard to edit texts as it often takes you to a separate window. Text formatting is strange, size of text increases as you change the text box so it's difficult to control the text size.
Pros
- The customer service is outstanding. Each time I have had to call Labelview for assistance, I received excellent service from the technicians.
- Very happy with product and support - we have had a few issues and always been satisfied with the resolution.
- I appreciate the ease of use and options to customize. The customer support is wonderful at answering questions and fixing issues.
Cons
- The network distributed licensing was difficult to set up and can be cranky. Accessing over VPN has been useless.
- The setup on a network as well as cloud connection can be difficult and a bit confusing.
- Price point is high compared to market competitors. No option for swapping from printing in horizontal rows vs vertical columns on a given sheet of label paper.
