Need a Landing Page? Use Leadpages

Pros

I am a part of a digital marketing company where having a landing page is not only beneficial, but also essential for every online marketing campaign we do. This is where Leadpages comes in. With Leadpages, I can use their templates to easily create a landing page for all my potential clients to click to. All templates are customizable so that everything matches your brand! Each design I can create web pages to acquire leads, give out content, and share information.

Cons

In order to have access to decent customer support, you have to upgrade your account to the highest tier.

Great for driving traffic

It has helped me with my online marketing so much and I usually create a couple to see which one works the best

Pros

It's easy to use and step by step helps you even if you're not sure what to do

Cons

I was fearful starting to use it because it was all new to me - online marketing- but it made it easy for me to learn how to do it

Best Landing Page Software By a Landslide

Within 1 year of using the software I won a $20,000 lead generation contest. at the world's llargest real estate brokerage. Keep up the great innovations LeadPages!

Pros

The recent integration with Zapier is something I have been begging them to do since 2013. Now that it is an integration, I use the feature 50 times a day between my accounts and client accounts. LeadDigits has been my long-time favorite feature. The WordPress blog plugin is also a top feature.

Cons

The software has everything. No complaints from me.

If you need a landing page ASAP, you can have it today with Leadpages, it's that easy to set up.

If you're creating a landing page and you need something quick and easy, this is it.

Pros

I like everything about it, you can create a landing page in no time, it's all drag and drop and you have many options. I used it for a long time and it done wonders for me. I love the platform.

Cons

I would love if I could get more options for the drag and drop and more templates, so I could edit it a bit more than I have done in the past.

Worth it if you're not using your own site

Overall, Leadpages is worth it if you're unable/unwilling to use your own website to create landing pages. They have dozens of different options and provide lots of guidance when creating your landing pages.

Pros

I love the different templates offered based on your end goal. They really do make landing page creation easy and fairly fast!

Cons

It's rather expensive, but if you're not going to use your own site to create landing pages, then Leadpages is a good alternative.

Was easy to get a client up on it quickly...

Pros

My client who has some technical/design skill wanted a way to set up pages themselves rather than rely on me (or anyone else) to do it. Leadpages allowed them to do that and launch an opt-in and program quickly.

Cons

Well, it is a lock-in. What you design and configure and put on your site will require continued Leadpages payments to keep working. Some folks (like me) prefer something that can be kept without monthly fee after it is designed and implemented.

Quite a good solution

Pros

It's easy to set up and there are lots of good templates - the only downside is that a lot of other people use the exact same templates.

Cons

It's a little bit harder to set up than some of the other plugins that people use for landing pages in Wordpress. You have to know a bit more about HTML etc. to get this set up - or you should hire someone that does.

The Best I've Found for the Money

Pros

--Easy to set up and has many useful features "out of the box"
--I've found the ability to design from templates to be pretty simple
--Integrations with other apps are pretty easy to set up
--Good for people who need to create lots of landing pages quickly
--Stats and analytics are good.
--Could use this service to replace your website.

Cons

--Designing from scratch is pretty difficult
--Learning resources are pretty sparse
--Some of the other features don't seem to make a ton of sense.
--Long term this is more of a website replacement product than just landing pages (not sure if thats a pro or con)

Decent way to build landing pages

I am a happy customer, but it’s a bit expensive for what’s it does.

Pros

The drag and drop builder makes it easy to build high converting landing pages.

Cons

I find the software sorta buggy, and the default templates leave a lot to be desired. However, with a little design savvy, you can make an awesome homepage or landing page.

Powerful. Simple. Always Improving.

It’s a critical part of our business. In fact, I wonder if our business would exist today without it.

Pros

I’m not a coder, so I value the ability to create lead pages from scratch using the intuitive drag and drop system created by Lead Pages. Additionally, given that so much of our traffic is from mobile devices, I enjoy that Leadpages allows us to customize the page for desktop and mobile users. Finally, our Company uses Drip, and I like that Leadpages is integrated with the Drip CRM systems.

Cons

Sometimes, especially during “busy” times during the day, the Lead Pages system will take a while to load. Additionally, there are some 3rd party apps (e.g. Kickoff Labs) that are not easily integrated with Leadpages.

Straightforward and Effective Landing Page Software

Mostly outstanding. I've recommended LP to other salespeople before and helped them set up new funnels with drip campaigns, etc. Would recommend again.

Pros

Pages look great, are pretty straightforward to modify, and you can make as many as you want for split tests.

Cons

Sometimes connecting multiple pages for a multi-step funnel is a little confusing, but once you get it down, it's fine. I love that it's easy to integrate other softwares like Aweber and that it integrates directly with Zapier.

Lead Capture pages quickly and easily

Using Leadpages has made my lead capture efforts much more fruitful.

Pros

It is incredibly easy to use and setup. Creating a squeeze page takes only a few minutes and is made simple with the Drag and Drop editor.

Cons

Currently I can only use one custom domain address to host pages.

Response from Leadpages of Leadpages

Replied October 2018

Hi Jim - thanks for your kind words! As of literally this morning, we have updated the custom domains capabilities: Standard accounts (1), Pro accounts (3), Advanced (50!). So now you have options for publishing more easily to multiple sites. As always, using our Wordpress plugin and HTML dynamic files, you can publish to as many domains as you control.

Life Saver for No Tech Background

I am so grateful someone shared this with me, all of this marketing is so intimidating that Leadpages makes this equitable to OTHER people who also want to promote themselves but don't have the skill set that most tech people acquire through starts ups. It is a dream for educators because it is so fast and easy.

Pros

I am a novice, English teacher background with NO MARKETING, BRANDING, CODING OR TECH KNOWLEDGE, outside of Google Docs, their variety of tutorials ranging from 2 minutes to 2 hours make it so accessible. I was able to understand KEY VOCABULARY in a matter of minutes and have my launch page and squeeze page on my site, promoting my weekly webinar in a matter of minutes. I am so grateful in how user-friendly it is and how efficient it makes me as a educator!

Cons

Truth, I don't have any right now. I am not ready to learn more than what I know, the drag and drop templates are more than enough curriculum for me to digest for the next few months, if anything, I wish I had more time to understand the full capacity but in terms of ease of use, it is amazing.

Leadpages is one of the easiest to get up and run quickly

Pros

I like MailChimp but I'm not a huge fan of its form builder and this is where LeadPages comes in handy. You can customise the form to reflect your brand; it comes loaded with a multitude of templates and advanced features, and it integrates well with MailChimp. Besides, LeadPages makes it so easy to set up a landing page, you can literally do it in minutes, so you can check the performance of various designs in real time.

Cons

It's a really good staple product in the marketing toolbox. The lower pricing tier didn't have split testing and the price difference to the next tier that included it was somewhat steep for our budget at that time.

Great support, many features

I used to love LeadPages, until I moved on

Pros

LeadPages were the first to focus on speed, the first to introduce sms optin, and the first in many features all their competitors have or are adopting. And we've used them for years. Until we found the design limitation and the focus on marketing look too limiting a factor. Because people don't want to be marketed to, but want to be informed about. with LeadPages all the landing pages look like a marketing collateral, and the changes are hard to make. and limited too. Making it almost impossible to have something that people actually want to read, watch or listen to. Instead of being forced by the same old FOMO tactics used by many, but not working anymore.

Cons

All the pages made with LeadPages look the same. You can spot on of theirs a mile away. And they all look like what marketers would do (which creates resistance form visitors) instead of looking like high value articles & blogs (that remove friction form users).

Rather easy to use, but it takes time in the beginning

Getting many news customers.

Pros

There are many great templates to start with. If you know how to use it, it is a great time saver and gives you great conversions.

Cons

To me, some very basic features are missing: On EACH AND EVERY site you have to copy tracking codes (for example the Facebook Pixel and so on) manually, as well as the needed links (for ex. "contact" "legal" and so on). WHY do we users have to do that manually again and again and again...???

Leadpages solves a multitude of marketing problems at once

Many - seems to cover all the needs we had on setting up landing pages for campaigns and then delivering the engagement offer materials digitally.

Pros

I love how it allows us to create landing pages for our online advertising offers very quickly, and they look and work great. They also can deliver your digital offers and track stats in real time for you.

Cons

Can't think of anything I don't like. The ability of Leadpages to not only produce the landing pages and even make them embeddable on your site, as well as DELIVER the white papers and other free offers overcomes the main objection I have for other landing page engines I have seen.

Easy to use template builder and options to build your list

Easy tool to help create lead magnets and grow your email list.

Pros

There is a learning curve, but it's not too difficult. They continue to create more templates, which are helpful and easy to use. Great way to capture emails and build your list. Like the lead magnets. Like that you can copy and create a new message based on older ones.

Cons

Wish there was more customization available, for instance, if you could take a template and then tweak/customize it a little more than currently available. Would be nice if you could upload custom colors for branding.
