Straightforward and Effective Landing Page Software

Mostly outstanding. I've recommended LP to other salespeople before and helped them set up new funnels with drip campaigns, etc. Would recommend again.

Pros

Pages look great, are pretty straightforward to modify, and you can make as many as you want for split tests.

Cons

Sometimes connecting multiple pages for a multi-step funnel is a little confusing, but once you get it down, it's fine. I love that it's easy to integrate other softwares like Aweber and that it integrates directly with Zapier.

Lead Capture pages quickly and easily

Using Leadpages has made my lead capture efforts much more fruitful.

Pros

It is incredibly easy to use and setup. Creating a squeeze page takes only a few minutes and is made simple with the Drag and Drop editor.

Cons

Currently I can only use one custom domain address to host pages.

Response: Leadpages, Leadpages

Hi Jim - thanks for your kind words! As of literally this morning, we have updated the custom domains capabilities: Standard accounts (1), Pro accounts (3), Advanced (50!). So now you have options for publishing more easily to multiple sites. As always, using our Wordpress plugin and HTML dynamic files, you can publish to as many domains as you control.

Pros

Solves one of the most difficult issues for non-tech marketers.

Cons

Availability of presidium templates, most of the templates are pretty basic.

Classic For Creating Opt-In Forms

Pros

I love the leadboxes functionality. Being able to click and open a pop up is really effective for capturing email sign-ups.

Cons

The interface can feel a bit clumsy at times in editing some of the templates.

Life Saver for No Tech Background

I am so grateful someone shared this with me, all of this marketing is so intimidating that Leadpages makes this equitable to OTHER people who also want to promote themselves but don't have the skill set that most tech people acquire through starts ups. It is a dream for educators because it is so fast and easy.

Pros

I am a novice, English teacher background with NO MARKETING, BRANDING, CODING OR TECH KNOWLEDGE, outside of Google Docs, their variety of tutorials ranging from 2 minutes to 2 hours make it so accessible. I was able to understand KEY VOCABULARY in a matter of minutes and have my launch page and squeeze page on my site, promoting my weekly webinar in a matter of minutes. I am so grateful in how user-friendly it is and how efficient it makes me as a educator!

Cons

Truth, I don't have any right now. I am not ready to learn more than what I know, the drag and drop templates are more than enough curriculum for me to digest for the next few months, if anything, I wish I had more time to understand the full capacity but in terms of ease of use, it is amazing.

Leadpages is one of the easiest to get up and run quickly

Pros

I like MailChimp but I'm not a huge fan of its form builder and this is where LeadPages comes in handy. You can customise the form to reflect your brand; it comes loaded with a multitude of templates and advanced features, and it integrates well with MailChimp. Besides, LeadPages makes it so easy to set up a landing page, you can literally do it in minutes, so you can check the performance of various designs in real time.

Cons

It's a really good staple product in the marketing toolbox. The lower pricing tier didn't have split testing and the price difference to the next tier that included it was somewhat steep for our budget at that time.

Great support, many features

I used to love LeadPages, until I moved on

Pros

LeadPages were the first to focus on speed, the first to introduce sms optin, and the first in many features all their competitors have or are adopting. And we've used them for years. Until we found the design limitation and the focus on marketing look too limiting a factor. Because people don't want to be marketed to, but want to be informed about. with LeadPages all the landing pages look like a marketing collateral, and the changes are hard to make. and limited too. Making it almost impossible to have something that people actually want to read, watch or listen to. Instead of being forced by the same old FOMO tactics used by many, but not working anymore.

Cons

All the pages made with LeadPages look the same. You can spot on of theirs a mile away. And they all look like what marketers would do (which creates resistance form visitors) instead of looking like high value articles & blogs (that remove friction form users).

Rather easy to use, but it takes time in the beginning

Getting many news customers.

Pros

There are many great templates to start with. If you know how to use it, it is a great time saver and gives you great conversions.

Cons

To me, some very basic features are missing: On EACH AND EVERY site you have to copy tracking codes (for example the Facebook Pixel and so on) manually, as well as the needed links (for ex. "contact" "legal" and so on). WHY do we users have to do that manually again and again and again...???

Leadpages solves a multitude of marketing problems at once

Many - seems to cover all the needs we had on setting up landing pages for campaigns and then delivering the engagement offer materials digitally.

Pros

I love how it allows us to create landing pages for our online advertising offers very quickly, and they look and work great. They also can deliver your digital offers and track stats in real time for you.

Cons

Can't think of anything I don't like. The ability of Leadpages to not only produce the landing pages and even make them embeddable on your site, as well as DELIVER the white papers and other free offers overcomes the main objection I have for other landing page engines I have seen.

Easy to use template builder and options to build your list

Easy tool to help create lead magnets and grow your email list.

Pros

There is a learning curve, but it's not too difficult. They continue to create more templates, which are helpful and easy to use. Great way to capture emails and build your list. Like the lead magnets. Like that you can copy and create a new message based on older ones.

Cons

Wish there was more customization available, for instance, if you could take a template and then tweak/customize it a little more than currently available. Would be nice if you could upload custom colors for branding.

Leadpages is an easy to use landing page builder for me

Pros

Leadpages is a straightforward and easy to use landing page builder. It gives you the basics of what one needs to create something that serves the intended purpose.

Cons

I wish there were a bit more options as far as design is concerned, however - it is enough to get the job done and done well.

Good landing page system

Pros

Some of their original designs are pretty nice so it's easy to find something you like to customize from the beginning.

Cons

Customizing your entire landing page can become a bit more complicated than you think. Although it appears that this should be a simple DIY landing page system, you sometimes have to get into the code to make updates. Not ideal with people with no HTML experience.

I keep finding new ways to use it and have still just tapped all its power.

LeadPages makes my job easier. It has many more features that I don't get through my WordPress theme provider.

Pros

The drag and drop builder is awesome. Makes building landing pages easy. Love the LeadDigits function.

Cons

I can't pick a single thing I like least about LeadPages. Getting a multiple choice form field working was a challenge.

Amazing standout software - but now everyone is doing it

It's a great piece of software! It really is! But is it worth the asking price in this day and age where there's so many great alternatives that do it for a fraction of the price?

Pros

Leadpages is the easiest lead generating add-on for any business. It's super simple to use, has a lot of design options and conversion stats, and also gives you a lot of templates so you never feel lost. Building landing pages is super easy. What I like about Leadpages is that it really defined what a good lead generating platform should look/feel like. It's a really solid product.

Cons

Leadpages has become really expensive for what it does. I've been recommending to a lot of my clients to switch to something that can do what Leadpages does but at a fraction of the price. What it was doing was a really novel thing a few years back, it's now become the standard in many other platforms. For example, Divi, the drag-and-drop visual editor for Wordpress - has a leadpages-esque opt-in component built right in... and it's part of the package!

Perfect for beginner online entrepreneurs

Simple landing page creation.

Pros

Simplistic and extremely easy to launch a complete standalone landing page. I use it exclusively to test new ideas when doing PPC campaigns.

Cons

Their new drag and drop feature is a bit clumsy and harder to use. Leadpages became famous for their ease of use and simplicity, they are going in the wrong direction with drag and drop.

Just set up a quick landing page for a client with ease

Pros

LeadPages offers great templates that make creating landing pages a snap. My design skills aren't the best and I made a great looking site that my client loved.

Cons

I can only connect one domain per account, and my website provider couldn't follow the provided instructions so I'm using the default URL.

Mr

Pros

* It's really easy to make a page in leadpages. Anybody can do it.
* It has all the features you need to create landing and optin pages.
* Supports drag and drop.
* Has a lot of great templates we can use.
* Supports facebook commenting .

Cons

The new email/optin integration it has with third party tools is not great. The old one was better. Good thing is we can still use it. Don't know when will the remove it.

Create landing pages without a standalone website

While Leadpages is not as flexibility in its depth as I would personally like, many of my small business clients love it because it has a fairly simple learning curve (especially if they have a webmaster or developer to handle the site/domain integrations). It does integrate with major email marketing platforms and it's pretty much a no-brainer if you need a quick opt-in or webinar registration page. Would love to see great flexibility in styling for the price.

Pros

Leadpages is great for creating simple landing pages on the fly. Leadpages has most of the major integrations you'd seek - WordPress, Mailchimp, etc.

Cons

The offered templates are too few and your landing page will be reminiscient of every other Leadpages landing page in use (there are many). Not enough flexibility in editing of page styles. Pricing is slightly higher than I would expect.

A Cheaper Alternative to ClickFunnels

Pros

If you're going to use ClickFunnels for the package, there's no obvious alternative at the moment. However, LeadPages provides a cheap solution to the core aspects of ClickFunnels that are just as adequate in their function.

Cons

The functionality isn't what I'd want from a total package solution. While it's possible to move the full website to a platform Iike ClickFunnels, I wouldn't do the same with LeadPages.
