Great tool for a business owner

My experience with Aspire has been wonderful overall. The product is super solid and they are committed to making constant improvements. The support they offer their customers is first class and they are very responsive when problems do occur.

Pros

I love the visibility that Aspire gives me into the workings of my company. It allows me to keep an eye on all parts of the business from anywhere I have an internet connection. From sales and customer relationship management to job execution and invoicing. I can watch my progress through the month on a daily basis against my budget and am able to make adjustments quickly and easily.

Cons

The management of snow removal work still needs a little bit of work. It has improved greatly over the years but still needs to get better. I have another piece of software that is a very important tool for me and have asked for some access to cross functionality but Aspire has remained a closed ecosystem to all but its chosen partners.

Reasons for choosing Aspire

It fit our business model better as a maintenance heavy company and they were more responsive during the sales process.

We value customer insight like yours and are pleased to hear that Aspire has helped gain visibility of your overall business operations. The Best Landscaping Production Software

Aspire has exceeded all our expectations and provides us with the real time knowledge of how we are performing as a company. Aspire is not a static software, they are always looking for new and better ways for the software to handle information and changes in the industry.

Pros

Aspire has organized our production information so everyone can find what they need instantly and be sure that it is current applicable information. Aspire has streamlined our invoicing, which in turn has improved our cash flow. Before Aspire I was given invoicing at the end of the month for all the projects completed during the month. Since going live on Aspire, invoices are sent as soon as tickets are completed. Aspire also streamlined our payroll process, what used to take hours in our old software, now takes minutes. Aspire also got us running on a PO system for purchases, we had tried before but we didn't succeed. Once we started on Aspire, we were able to finally get some controls on our purchasing.

Cons

The most challenges I have had are with customers wanting something special done to their invoices that can't be done within the system. However, I am able to print an editable version and send them what they want.

Reasons for choosing Aspire

Aspire offered all the features we were searching for in a software. We needed to consolidate our production reports and have an easier way to track the profitablity of jobs.

Response from Aspire Software

Tracy, thank you for your feedback! We're pleased to hear you would recommend Aspire to others and that our software has helped streamline your processes. We love input on how Aspire can adapt to better fit the needs of our clients and your comment about more customizable invoices will be shared with the team. Stay tuned for future updates, feedback like yours is what improves our software!

Aspire Review by CWR

Overall i think Aspire is a good fit for our application. i think it provides a good system for job estimating and job costing.

Pros

The aspire software offers a lot of solutions we needed for our business. The fact that the billing ties to QB is invaluable in my opinion. The PO system has saved us hundreds of thousands in unauthorized / or incorrect billing. Deployment was a nightmare at first, we definitely didn't make it easy on our consultant, but he also did a pool job of guiding us in the correct direction. We had a change in consultants about half way through and she got us back on track.

Cons

There are small issues that are annoying... when you email a PO to a vendor it doesn't save a record on the opportunity or work ticket it's associated with, also it doesn't recall any email addresses, so you have to type in address every time. super waste of time. in the scheduler i sometimes have issues finding the work tickets i want to schedule (not sure if that's user error) Often times a work ticket will report committed costs against purchase receipts that have been received and approved making EOM procedures difficult, especially if the purchase receipt was approved ina closed month. I don't thnk the payroll function works for us... (not certain bc i don't do payroll)

Reasons for choosing Aspire

The team thought it looked easier to use.

Reasons for switching to Aspire

Salesforce was good for Customer service documentation... not so much for job tracking. we needed a system that would complete both.

Response from Aspire Software

Christina, thank you for your feedback! Job tracking is so important for reporting profitability and we are pleased that we could fill that gap for you, along with saving you thousands on fixing billing issues. We love input on how Aspire can adapt to better fit the needs of our clients and your comments about purchase orders, and auto-populating email addresses will be shared with the team. Stay tuned for future updates, feedback like yours is what improves our software!

Review

Pros

Scheduling has been a huge help for production and keeping track of budget hours. The ability to track these in real time is a major asset with growing labor costs.

Cons

Some functions could be a little more user friendly but generally its easy to use. Sometime clicking from work tickets to schedule back to work tickets or to the next property seems a but cumbersome

Reasons for switching to Aspire

Looked for a more landscape specific product

Response from Aspire Software

Hey Chris, thank you for your feedback! We're happy to hear that the scheduling feature has helped you track and budget hours in real time. We appreciate your feedback and as we continue to grow and improve Aspire, we are always striving to make the system more user-friendly. If you have any more recommendations on how we can achieve that, please let us know!
