  • Pros

  • The ease of use and the ability to link people who are already in the database to new matters. The ability to set up forms with fields that automatically populate is also a fabulous feature.
  • In sum, this is a truly great product, at a reasonable price, with great customer support. I highly recommend you get it.
  • I like that Abacus was easy to learn and is user friendly. I use Abacus to calendar all of our Attorney's events, and I love that it keeps me and our office organized.
  • Cons

  • This software is unstable and customer service is poor. It looses appointments , doesn't bill correctly, and has technical issues in a daily basis.
  • The company is the worst sort of "bait and switch" you can imagine. And you will be stuck with a contract and poor software/poor support and nothing you can do about it.
  • Some have complained about customer service. I guess that is a universal complaint we all have with almost software company.

  • Overall, it's been a great site for a newcomer like me, and making everything easy and organized for all legal documentation.
  • File Vine is a very top notch friendly group of professionals who go above and beyond and very happy to help their clients succeed. Very hands on with training, onboarding and 24/7 support.
  • The best feature has been the reporting function. There are a lot of good things about Filevine and I am glad we selected it.
  • Cons

  • We had a terrible experience with Filevine. The representatives are outright dishonest and lying to the customer just to make the sale.
  • You have to pay a third-party vendor to get it to integrate. Perhaps worst of all, they get you to spend a lot of money on a "training" that they claim sets them apart from all other companies.
  • The worst part is the total lack of customer service. It might as well not exist.
