It can be difficult to use data for reports, where some data does not interact usually within the system. It's necessary on our end to use other software to review statistics and to report.

Plus the higher monthly fee. I spoke to 3 provider companies and all were charging more than $5,000, and the day I stopped paying my AS subscription all that work would be lost.

It is very easy to use and navigate. I would recommend this portal to other paralegals.

The calendar is great too. This is miles above any other legal software I have used.

Options for integration with accounting and invoicing software is fairly limited. Learning curve is a bit steeper than other cloud based systems.

Catastrophic customer service and lack of common sense - too bad, it's a promising software.

Integration in our firm was somewhat difficult only due to time constraints; nothing to do with the product itself.

Wonky, outdated interface; poor email integration, and terrible customer support. Clio and Zola Suite both really outshine ActionStep by a mile.

Good visual layout, adding new matters is relatively simple, scratchpad feature is useful.

Search results are limited to 200, no matter how many contacts you have from that city, and you can only see 10 per page, and the results are not sortable; they come in random order.

Adding things can be difficult, it can be very slow and freeze. It is difficult to load letter heads etc if they are not the selected size.

Works from a browser and integrates with GSuite, ASANA etc. Great search and easy to use.

The salespeople were nice and I believe genuine.

Overall, our experience with Actionstep has been great and has made the office much more efficient so that our clients receive top quality work.

The ease of integration between Actionstep and Office software has been very useful. The two programs work seamlessly with each other.

The overall efficiencies of the product are brilliant. Increasing productivity of fee earners and support staff.

This software is intuitive and easy to use. It is logical, very organized and user friendly - similar to using an app on your phone.

The ability to build my practice management system my way, using tools available within Actionstep and also through the integration of other applications.

I like that it keeps all of our records easily accessible without having to pull each file.

Given these problems, we are preparing our exit. It is an economic disaster for us (losses in implementation and losses on invoicing).

The accounts package is comprehensive. The system is very good value for money and you are not locked into an annual contract.

The best feature is the ability for everyone to enter their time contemporaneously.

Having the ability to customize it via workflows is a huge advantage for us. We also use the document merge features very heavily.

We have been using Actionstep for nearly 10 years, relatively trouble-free, and it has proved to be easy to use for new employees, and has met our needs.

I cant say enough about how this software helps to organize our small firm and keeps us on track with respect to keeping track of revenue goals, etc.

Third, this is so simple I fail to understand why it isnt in place.

The support staff is very responsive and will try to thoroughly understand and address the issues for us.

The techo people are not trained in real technical problems and use the excuse of putting something to the 'development' team. I am not sure the development team exists.

The display of the program is good and some of the support team is quite responsive.

The positives far outweigh the few negatives, it's a good and fruitful process automation software.

Setup costs were restrictive to me so I did it myself and I am unaware of some features.

It's good all-in-one-place legal process management with simple ways to assign tasks to partners and associates and to set proper workflows.

I liked the price and the ease of the setup. Since this was my first experience, I don't have anything to compare it to.

I tested out the demo, I really like the native email client. Seems like a big improvement over outlook plug ins other services use.

The integrated accounting solution is excellent, including the ability to write checks directly from Zola.

Zola Suite has been super easy to use. Although they provided an onboarding specialist to walk me through the product, I didn't need the help.

There isn't much to say in terms of negative content that I personally have experienced.

The problem is severe - I cannot have emails piling up in my Inbox forever - and forces me to get rid of the program even though I prepaid for three annual licenses.

My only complaint is it's Outlook folder rearranging, but I expect they'll be reevaluating this soon.

A great legal management product for law office with awesome customer support.

When I moved to solo practice I knew I would need a solid and easy to use practice management system and Zola has been a perfect fit for my needs.

I've used other practice management software at other firms and this has provided the best experience and most features.

I do feel like it is helping us capture a higher percentage of our billable work than we did in the past. Most of the reporting functionality is really great.

First and foremost, being able to access the software via a web-based login is extremely useful, especially when so many of us are working from home. Time entry is straightforward and easy.

Super easy to use, straight forward pricing, lots of great functions that are actually useful. I would recommend to any practitioner.

Also, sometimes there is a lag in the email integration functions so replying to or saving an email takes longer than it should.

The Zola Suite team was amazing at holding my hand through the process and making sure that we were satisfied with everything.

Ease of orientation and use for major operational tasks such as matter maintenance, time and billing.

My experience has been great. From the onboarding process to the help center, Zola has been super helpful.

I use a lot of fields and create a lot of merge forms so having the ability to insert the field data quickly and easily is a big plus).

Another is the email integration with R-Post, providing the ability to send encrypted, registered email that provides proof of delivery and receipt. Litigators will love that capability.

Sometimes there is a delay between an email being received in my inbox and showing in Zola. Email glitches happen with some regularity.

Love the built in email. Very helpful customer support.

The best part about Zola is the customer support.

Customer support has been extremely responsive and helpful. Integration with Quickbooks Online is really nice.

The billing and expenses aspects of Zola is very user friendly.

Billing is quick and easy, as is jumping to various matters. The calendar syncs to other calendar apps, making scheduling accurate.

I have always had great customer support whenever calling Zola, and I called a lot at the beginning of the software implementation.

Emailing has limits in that there is no delivery/read receipt.

Further customer support is amazing. They promptly answer every single question and concern.

Having the ability to do not just case management and billing, but complete firm accounting/reconciliation is a godsend.

I love many features from Zola suite. Matter section is perfect.

Great software at a great price with responsive service.

What I most liked about the software was the ease of use and the great training that came along with the software.

The integrated CRM in the Enterprise Plus tier is fantastic - no need to have an outside CRM that may or may not fully integrate with your CMS.
