As a lawyer who prides herself on reviewing documents and records herself whenever possible, this program allows me to pull out relevant material in a matter of seconds, eliminating the need to retype or hand-write notes. It also creates helpful tables and chronologies incorporating this material with just the click of button. Finally, the program cuts my report drafting time in half by allowing me to pull summaries from my file and auto populate sections of a document where necessary. In this way, the information my clients need to know is provided to them- but without the extra expense of me having to re-type or re-draft the content.

I can't over-state how much time this program saves me in my every day work. Whether it be quickly extracting relevant information from voluminous records; organizing notes, ideas, or critical information in an easy to navigate and intuitive way; or drafting reports, arguments, or letters, this program helps get it done efficiently and without sacrificing quality.

I'm an overall fan of the product. Given how much time it saves me and money it saves my clients, I have no complaints.

In my 10 years of working on complex legal issues, this is the first piece of software I have used that directly addresses major pain points of mine and probably any legal practice. By being able to highlight important parts of the documents, I no longer have to search for a needle in a haystack every time I prepare a good summary of an issue or a court document. Maintaining an easy-to-use list of critically important pieces of information, along with their respective sources and references, saves a tremendous amount of time and effort and drastically reduces errors in citations. The fact that Conspectus can also generate fact reports is an added bonus which further simplifies the drafting process. As a case grows more complex, Conspectus becomes more useful. I recently used it for a juvenile dependency case, which contained thousands of pages of emails, medical documents and court transcripts. Being able to group important evidence and information together under specific headings / issues made preparing reports on those issues a much more accurate and efficient process. I would highly recommend the product for those practicing in many different areas of law - specifically complex civil litigation, where similar capabilities are absolutely indispensable.

Excellent fit for case management, time-saving with no drawbacks

After using the software for a while, I have not seen any problems so far.

I have been drafting Medical Chronologies for over ten years and can confirm that even with a quick typing speed and a keen eye, although a necessary task, manually typing up Medical Chronologies is a very time consuming task that is largely prone to human error. Unfortunately, I can’t even count the number of times I’ve added a medical entry in the wrong date order, or referenced the wrong document to a specific entry. After using Conspectus, I was able to cut the time it takes to prepare a Medical Chronology by at least 60%, which has allowed me to take on more files at the office because it largely increased my productivity. Furthermore, and more importantly, my Medical Chronologies are now error free. All the entries are listed in the correct order automatically, and the document in which the entry refers to is directly linked to the entry so anyone who picks up the file can review the originating document. I have recommended this product to many paralegals and will continue to do so! It’s been a game changer at our office.

The ease of use and the amount of time saved by using the product.

I have not encountered any issues with this software to date. My only regret is that I was no introduced to this software earlier in my career.

Usually, this process takes me approximately ten hours per file. Using the Conspectus software cut my work time in half which I really appreciate!
