LegalTrek is comprehensive legal practice management solution designed for boutique and midsize law firms worldwide. Focused on project management and billing, LegalTrek helps structure and improve day-to-day operations so firms can focus on client matters and grow their business.

The system offers centralized document and client management, and users can search each database by client, matter or file type and can add comments to keep colleagues up-to-date on status. Additionally, users can keep track of tasks and impending deadlines via daily or weekly email reminders and can stay current on firm matters via a social style notification system.

LegalTrek also offers several reporting options including cashflow reports (analyze overdue and paid invoices, expenses and income) and co-worker reports (track productivity and total hours worked). Users can also review or add time entries and expenses, send preliminary billing reports to clients and manage finances via personalized invoices.

LegalTrek is available as either a Web-based or on-premise solution, and is compatible with all operating systems. Onboarding includes free training and import of customer data, and users have access to email or phone support.

As a general counsel in a big energy company I had to optimize my legal spending and accommodate for a bigger in-house team.
That's when I stumbled upon LegalTrek. Their legal project management includes budgeting so it's very easy for me to immediately know if we are going over estimates.
Honestly, I did not know how much their software would help but now we cannot imagine our internal and external projects without LegalTrek.

LegalTrek really has excellent software for a network of law firms.
Before we implemented it, it was hard to work between different offices on projects together.

LegalTrek's Legal project management helped us achieve really smooth operations. Now the work between offices, with of-counsels and clients is easy. It automatically tracks budget and time. This means that almost 100% of our project now runs on budget which clients really love.

Pros

We like friendly stuff from LegalTrek that help us not only get the most out of software but also to upgrade some of the functionalities to work better for us.

Cons

No problems.

Advice to Others

I would say that this level of expertise and guidance I have never received so my advice is to talk to the them and see for yourself.

Our firm really needed a good software solution and tried some of them, but LegalTrek was by far the best. There are some quirks to fix, but overall it fulfills our needs perfectly.
