Pros/Cons
Pros
- Litify empowers you with a lot of data and analytics, and with great knowledge comes great responsibility.
- It allowed an easy training for us as we were already used to the basic format. It helps us really stay focused on the areas we need to be focused on.
- The program is very user friendly and self explanatory, it would be very easy to learn on your own but you have the support of the company to help you through every step of the way.
Cons
- The fact that they tied themselves to Salesforce caused many headaches that involved an unacceptable answer of "Sorry we cannot do anything about it, because of Salesforce.
- Heavy lift, costs, not intuitive, not fully integrated as accounting platform does not work well at all with Litify.
- The search function that was the backbone of our Salesforce use was completely ruined.
Pros
- The ease of organizing files and search capabilities are outstanding. I like the ability to work offline while traveling, and it has become an asset when working out of the office.
- Smokeball has been an excellent practice management program for us, and their staff are prompt and helpful in helping with our needs.
- Training and onboarding are fantastic. Customer Support is on top of things and great to help and give feedback.
Cons
- It's difficult to switch from Plaintiff to Defendant if you open a case the wrong way, especially if you already have a lot of information in the case.
- They also lack CRM functionality that many other providers are offering. Their closed API also makes it difficult to integrate with other software providers.
- No sales tax calculation makes me unable to use the billing feature.
