Their AI, Archie, does a pretty good job preparing documents. It also focuses a lot on syncing up with Outlook, which is something I would say is necessary. #### Cons I don't know that this is Smokeball's fault, but I wish it would work with E-filing in Wisconsin. It is also missing the ability to create matters on the phone app. If you use Smokeball with Classic Outlook, it can sync up with your calendar when you create the matter in Outlook. If that features exists in the New Outlook, I cannot seem to find it, so while I would like to use the New Outlook for various reasons, I cannot right now, since that syncing feature is so important to me. It's compatibility with Zoom also needs a little bit of work. Maybe more that needs to be billed out and may already been worked on. A little more automation on payments to client and to us as well. Where if a payment is made or received. An automated form can be sent from client to us and when we receive payment a paid invoice or email can be sent to client thank you for the payment that was received so there is an automatic footprint in Smokeball so there is no need to confirm or remind ourselves to go look in SB. My favorite feature is the AI tracking of my time spent processing emails in Outlook. #### Cons The accounting features aren't as good as what we had with Clio. The accounting features don't stack up against all of the thoughtful process designed for case management. Inability to use previous document for a new matter, cannot "switch" matters like before to save new document. Cannot incorporate "workflow" dates into calendar. We use workflow to monitor dates/tasks leading up to trial, these workflow dates do not go into events, so I have to create the workflow, take physical notes and manually put the dates into the events.
