CUTS DOWN ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS FOR HIGH-VOLUME LITIGATORS
I think this is a must-have for high-volume litigation firm. Highly recommended!
PROSI used Westlaw Legal Calendaring (along with other Thomson Reuters products) for five years at my old law firm. As you likely know if you are an attorney, Thomson Reuters is on the cutting edge of legal software and legal research. This tool helped me to calendar all of the various dates needed in my litigation practice. It would calculate all of the particular deadlines when I filed my case and manage the docket entries to continuously upload my calendar. I also liked that the calendaring rules would update yearly if court rules changed.
CONSIt was not as helpful when I had only a few large cases ongoing, but it works wonders when you have a high volume litigation practice in various courtrooms (it helps you track all of the local and state and federal rules).

Intelligent Calendaring for Effective Time Management
Westlaw's calendaring can integrate into your existing calendar so everything is together. Obviously the premier feature of deadline suggestion (based on your local rules) is fantastic. And getting notifications on rule updates and how the calendar should change up is also great.
CONSThere are 3 big drawbacks to this software: 1. Antiquated GUI, feels like you're on an old desktop unit looking at Windows 95 2. Westlaw, and its various products are expensive (though worth depending on your volume) 3. Creeping complacency, and it may just be me but the over-reliance on a system can worry me. None of these factors alone should dissuade, but rather they are considerations to accept when moving forward.

Typical Westlaw Quality
I've used their products since law school, and found this to be no exception to the quality of the items. Intuitive design and easy to use. Need to spend more time fiddling to understand the functionality.
CONSCould be a bit of an extreme alternatively to microsoft's outlook calendar, but a worthy alternative.

I like WestLaw a lot
It solves the need for tracking cases and keeping a close watch on events and deadlines and so forth as they come to pass.
PROSWestLaw allows you to keep track of your cases and work and keep it organized. One of the key issues in the legal world are deadlines, keeping them and calendaring them properly and responsibly. This program facilitates that.
CONSI want the program to work more closely with Google Calendar and G-Suite products because that is what my agency uses for most of those sorts of features.
