Reliable software licensing option!

PROS

Features, flexibility. We have customers on multiple platforms (Mac, Linux, Windows). Features are virtually endless!!!

CONS

The complexity to configure and update seem to never go away. Customer service improved tremendously over past 2 or so years. Used Gemalto for 10+years.

EMS for Enterprise

My organization uses all of these Sentinel solutions and we are happy with the features and support from Thales.

PROS

The Sentinel EMS provides the features needed to support an increasing number of SaaS solutions marketed by my organization.

CONS

It would be nice if the Enhanced Partner Portal used with the Sentinel EMS based more in the Cloud to ease maintenance tasks.

Thales - Not the easiest to use, but does the job

We identified Thales as a good option to list our software licensing, as some of our customers relied on 24/7 access to this data in order to meet their ISO requirements.

PROS

In order to get a list of licensing and numbers up to date, is not always easy. Thales helps with this process and gives reliable numbers when required.

CONS

We did struggle to start with to get to grips with the software. This has proven to be the case each time a new user has started to use it. It isn't the easiest to pickup and start using.

Does the job

Overall, it does the job and allows us to input our loans to work on for clients.

PROS

We use sentinel to input our Loans for clients at the bank. It is easy to input information, once you figure out how sentinel works.

CONS

It can be confusing to use at times. It is slow sometimes. Sometimes it goes down for some time when you are in the middle of using it.

HASP keys still very much in demand!

Still hopeful that we will get remote admin capabilities

Cons: Data tracking not enough detailed >licence renewal system not good as per UI perspective
