This is a great software, when helps me and my team to have a better communication.

The administration panel is way to complex (however the features are great).

Great experience so far, pricing model is the only limitation for integration into our platform as we dont want to maintain our own app.

You have many options to work with. It is perfect for companies, but also it is perfect for personal uses.

No straightforward integration with SharePoint. Electron client app only, so notifications are a bit lacking.

I have used Slack, Teamwork Chat before, but Rocket Chat is very economical to me ( free- minus the VPS cost). ANd it has everything we need.

It has some great features and it's great that you have so much control over the software as administrator.

Also, for those of us who do have cameras, the default initial setting for a call should be camera OFF for heavens sake. There have already been a couple of embarrassing accidents.

I would recommend it to any company or team who wants to keep control over their own data and need a reliable chat messenger.

Chat has me pretty amazed how feature rich rocket chat really is. Make sure if you want video chat capability to enable JITSI in the server admin console.

Rocket chat community support is very good. We can subscribe to different global channels for gaining knowledge.

It is not obvious which sections apply to which sections when you mess around with the font/color/style/formatting.

It's easy to use, didn't cost anything (if self-hosted) and helps us meet EU-GDPR requirements. Further it provides a nice app and a community, that constantly improves the chat and features.

The messaging is robust, and the voice quality is good. Overall, Rocket Chat is extremely solid, plenty strong enough to be used in a mission-critical capacity.

We love that there is an on-premise option for security. The chat features are intuitive and easy to use.

Chat is great in terms of the fact that it allows you to manage your own chat server without having to go through third party services and paid subscription plans.

Per-user pricing model is still to high for a chat, and limitation of push notifications is a problem for mobile user support.

Friendly designed interface and this tool supports LDAP. Funny and creative emojis that helps in delivering the messages in a more innovative manner.

The fact of being logged out anytime it gets an update is a little bit annoying in my opinion, but after a login everything is back to normality.

I like this app and was first introduced to it when I joined a technical support team. It is fast and reliable and has a nice interface which is easy to navigate.

I liked it because it has this great feature of integration with other software like google drive.

Slack is refined, clean, and very user friendly. It integrates with many other tools in our stack and always offers a great experience.

The different channels help to keep conversations organized. The fun features make this instant messaging fun and add flair.

When te connection is down, the messages stay grey and after some minutes, they fail, so sometimes the internet connection come back and those failed messages are sent after the previous ones.

Overall, I'd say that once a company is used to the mechanisms and abilities of slack, it has the potential to do a lot of good. Once comfortable with it, it is quite efficient and enjoyable.

The best thing about Slack is the ease of use and the ability to communicate quickly and effectively across multiple teams/projects.

I love the feature that allows you to pin links to the header of a channel making it easy for others to access certain documents. In addition,  The Slackbot is a great help tool.

It's really useful, practical and easy to use. Great way to communicate and even fun because you can add your own emogi and use giphy.

It is super user friendly and able to navigate through the platform with ease. It has been money well spent and has helped our business flourish.

I recommend it to everyone I know. More people should use it! perhaps invest more on marketing so that it is more popular among crowds.

The best thing about this software is its easy to use and very useful functions. I love being able to select groups to notify or send announcements easy, essentially getting rid of email.

The only thing that I dislike is that I can easily get distracted by the notifications.

What is nice about slack is that you can have multiple channels based on what the communities interests are and that tagging people in messaging is really helpful.

Webhooks are incredibly useful. Custom emojis are great for teams to develop a fun atmosphere.

From keeping message history to other basic necessities, Slack charged for a lot of it. Comparing it to Discord, it cannot compete.

Super light and easy to use interface. Integration services with Google apps (Calendar, Sheets, etc) are excellent and seamlessly integrated into the conversations.

I love the look and how it is comfortable in the eyes. Functional in all aspects especially the integration with other apps that we use like Time Doctor and Asana.

You can easily confuse groups your in and comment something to the wrong team ( I've done it on many occasions) and confused the heck out of some coworkers.
