"It fills a massive gap that mainstream platforms completely ignore. While other apps treat audio like a sterile, one-way broadcast, SoundCloud feels like a living, interactive community where fans and creators actually talk to each other."

"We heavily rely on the Spotlight feature to pin our newest releases right to the top of the profile so first-time listeners see our best work immediately."

"I was able to upload all the songs I ever started creating in FL Studio that I thought was worthy of listening to or that other people wouldn't mind listening to and would possibly enjoy the way my music made them feel."

"It is not clear how useful their premium memberships can be other than being able to skip ads as you are listeneing"
