About ActivePresenter

ActivePresenter is an on-premise video creation solution for educational organizations and corporate training teams. With this solution, users can record/capture desktop screens, edit screencast videos, and create interactive eLearning content in HTML5. ActivePresenter includes several editing features/tools for audio and video files. This solution is compatible with Mac and Windows devices and content created can be shared with any mobile device.

This solution supports webcam recording and keyboard/mouse click captures. With ActivePresenter, users can add color, effects, numbering, bullet-point lists, shapes, animations, and transitions to videos. Advance audio effects include fade in/out, noise reduction, and audio normalization. Customized quizzes, assessments, and surveys can also be created. ActivePresenter includes pre-built templates and themes that can be used when projects require quick creation. This solution integrates with existing learning management systems.

Pricing includes a one-time license fee based on desired features. Technical support is available via online guides, manuals, and other methods.

Pros:

ActivePresenter can record video, webcam with audio, system sound and take screenshot in full hd quality. The program also comes with very intuitive interface plus ever-expanding variety of video editing features. It is free and safe to use.

Cons:

It lacks of video effects that many other video editors offer. Anyway, it's great for me since I seldom add effects to my tutorial video.

Pros:

Active Presenter is easy to use, and has a lot of useful fuctions. I personally used it to screen-record and it keeps the quality really high, love it!

Cons:

I really like ActivePresenter so far, never gave me any problem!

Easy but not the best to edit your videos or presentations.

It can save you from an emergency, but I wouldn't use it regularly.

It's relatively easy to use, gets the job done. Intuitive in most of the processes and light in space on your PC.

Cons:

The outcomes are not the best and the could be a lot of disappointments and frustration when editing.

The interface is intuitive and easy to get started, I was able to clean up my videos and insert captions and slides as desired in a few easy steps

Cons:

The files can get pretty large if you don't pay attention

Pros:

ActivePresenter is one of the best softwares when it comes to this field; it's really easy to use it, and offers a lot of ways to easily edit your works.

Cons:

It is probably too "classic": other software are more updated when it comes to the graphic of the software. Still a good option for people who don't give it much mind, though.

Pros:

I use it when I need to screen recording something, and it's amazing! It has a really good quality, and is really easy to use.

Cons:

Sometimes, if my device has a lot of programs open, taking a lot of RAM space, it freezes and stops working. This can be fixed by starting the device again.

Making videos as easy as 1...2... Go!

Video user guides have become effortless and a huge time saver. Being able to utilise PowerPoint slides in this software has helped immensely as I don't have to do the work over, the foundation is there, I just need to add in effects.

Pros:

The ease of use and the interface with PowerPoint. Compared to other video software out there that is complicated and difficult to use, I managed to figure this one out quite quickly, thanks to the PowerPoint interface. Being able to add in text boxes in the same way as PowerPoint is a huge time saver, and the ease of timing how long a slide, text, etc is displayed is effortless. A huge plus that has to be mentioned is that the free version does 95% of what the paid version does, and there are no watermarks on your final product. To really make polished videos of an extremely high calibre - for example if you want your music to fade in and out - you would need the paid version. The user manual also helped immensely.

Cons:

I can't say that there is anything that stands out here. I found the software to be overall brilliant.

I lived using it

I have loved using it sincerely for the many screen sessions i have made with my system. I absolutely love it, and how it also produces very high quality videos for free. Quite nice

Pros:

I used activepresenter to record my online classes and render some other videos, and i lived the record video feature, with the software simulation feature, makes explaining of processes much better

Cons:

I didn't like the fact that it kept crashing when i directly try to export my videos, or even the fact that it takes too long to begin recording or doesn't even record at all some times. Maybe it is my PC, but ActivePresenter is the usual application that behaves this way, I lost a few of my recordings to this crashing.

Pros:

I was amazed by ActivePresenter performance: really friendly interface, fast and very professional. Their customer support is also amazing, I had some problems due to my old device, but they had the solution!

Cons:

As previously said, I had some compatibility problems at first, but their customersupport fixed it.
