Overall size can be problem if the created content has videos and images which create loading problem web based online trainings.

Mainly what I like about this software is the distribution of controls, since they are simple and intuitive, I can access a wide variety of controls and at the same time maximize my workspace.

Horrible, Overpriced, Outdated headache of a program.

I am very please with it's usability straight out of the box. I was able to seamlessly edit and manipulate slides and information.

As a Learning and Development specialist, Adobe Captivate is a very useful tool for creating e-learning content. It took quite a while for me to learn to use it due to the many useful features.

Sometimes dragging out template sizes can be a bit annoying. Also found it hard to juggle between different layers.

Integration with PowerPoint is great. Links with entire Adobe suite.

The products are also easy for learners (students, corporate employees, really anyone interested in gaining knowledge) to navigate, complete courses, and assess their progress.

This is great software for creating eLearning content. It has a lot of features that ensure that there is interaction and feedback.

The most that I like and that I consider that is the most important feature is to save projects as HTML5. For example, I use to create real estate courses and save them as SCORM 1.2 (HTML5).

This software lacks even the basic features that its next closet competitor has. It is difficult to use and still looks clunky when you are done.

Having used the entire Adobe CC and other e-learning software, this platform is not difficult to transition into.

This product can really make learning engagning and fun. It can ensure learners read material with the ability to insert questions and click here icons.

I recently started using this software and wouldn't have even thought I needed it until I tried it. Great and useful features.

The price point can be a little shocking unless you're in education. Educational prices are around $399, normal pricing is 3 times that amount.

I was also reached out to DIRECTLY by a customer service member via email asking if I needed help. I did not need, help, but it was nice to know that the service was available.

Really enjoy the Assets feature as well when looking to switch things up a little - really helps with inspiration and new ideas.

I would recommend this for an educational institution or corporation looking to engage their employees in personal development. This is a great forum to disseminate information, policies, etc.

Captivate is very easy to use to develop engaging training modules. Great for software simulations and  training.

There isn't much good to say about this software other than it will create elearning just like it says it will.

I'm always having to stop it and restart and select all the settings again.

I believe that is an appropriate action as there is so much that in can be used for and it's a worthwhile investment.

It integrated easily with other Adobe audio products for enhanced audio editing. Captivate does include  limited audio editing tools, just enough to be handy.

More overall experience of Adobe Captivate was great considering all that it offered including the price. This is an LMS with a company that is constantly updating to meet a scalable population.

I use it to develop different materials for online and offline courses.

The option more complete for the user in the education is Captivate, the integration of code is good and  have more option for explained the class.

If mastered, you will have a wonderful looking project.

The online community is also really great with supporting each other and lending new ideas. The different preview options that are built in are fantastic and load so much faster than Storyline.

Overall, I am satisfied with the software. The ease of use is outstanding even for the not so computer savvy person.

This is a great program for my needs in building a training program. It's essential to where we are taking the company.

The number of tools integrated within the Blackboard so that multiple URLs and passwords need to be managed is a breath of fresh air.

With a large company comes great support and account management. Blackboard's team will be there to help train you and support you.

Blackboard Learn is a frustrating platform to use.

Blackboard has all the necessary tools to create a great and effective online learning environment. There are so many LTI tools you can integrate into Blackboard to be successful.

The software is very traditional. It has great capabilities for pulling information out across courses and makes evaluating courses easy.

I think Blackboard is better than Canvas, but maybe not better than Moodle. It has some flexibility but perhaps not as much as Moodle has.

But once our organization switched to canvas, I realized Blackboard has some catching up to do, in terms of ease of use and integration.

It seems pretty stable and certainly is more stable than Canvas.

Hard to use software that is also very expensive.

I liked how this software is very easy for students. Instructors can give assignments, show grades, and upload attachments.

I don't like how Blackboard constant go through changes and is often down or having technical issues that'll need to be passed onto customer service.

Interface is confused but have too much posibilites for take different way to make the class and evaluations.

Overall, Blackboard Learn is a pretty good experience. Students are able to access many things.

Great ability to integrate other platforms (ie. youtube). Easy for teacher to manage course content.

Because this is in a university setting our IT department has been responsible for customer support and software purchases. Overall my experience with Blackboard has been very positive.

It was great at the time but we ended up replacing it with a home-grown system that was very similar. I wonder if it was pricey or the customizable options weren't what the university needed.

Avoid this program at all costs. Use literally anything else.

Blackboard is easy to use,exams are easy to deploy,announcements are very good and even the bullet-in board is a very handy feature.

As a TA, i have to use blackboard to build exams and quizzes for my students and i absolutely hate it. It is the least intuitive process and is a major pain in the butt.

I was easily able to access my grades, assignments, schedules and navigate with ease. Blackboard tech support was very responsive to any issues.

It is also difficult to navigate the grade center.

It has a bad UI and does not integrate well with other software solutions.

I don't know how it's priced, but I'm sure it can't be worth whatever the administrators are saving.

Blackboard is wonderful for students, it is very easy to use and they constantly do updates that help improve the system.

We ran our own host and it had nothing but problems, and I am not talking hardware. Every time we went to run an update, it broke something.

At times can be difficult to navigate around. There are a ton of things you can click on, can be easy to get lost at times.
