- Mainly what I like about this software is the distribution of controls, since they are simple and intuitive, I can access a wide variety of controls and at the same time maximize my workspace.
- As a Learning and Development specialist, Adobe Captivate is a very useful tool for creating e-learning content. It took quite a while for me to learn to use it due to the many useful features.
Cons
- Overall size can be problem if the created content has videos and images which create loading problem web based online trainings.
- Sometimes dragging out template sizes can be a bit annoying. Also found it hard to juggle between different layers.
Pros
- The video recording/editing directly in the suite, the quizzes are great and that they interface with the Canvas grade book make it awesome.
- Easy to use ! very friendly - I like the webinars that you are delivering on how to use the tool and what are the best practices.
Cons
- Some drag and drop features missing as in GOMO.
- When we have technical problems, my company's IT administrators are befuddled on how to correct the issue. I believe this is due to the fact that we rarely have issues, and the poor documentation.
