Jump start your development journey or at least check if it is for you
I wanted to extend my overall understanding of computer science basics and polishing basics to the javascript and react programming languages
PROSVery clean and friendly User Interface. In course mode you have 3 sections - instructions to the left, in middle place for your code and effects to the right - I really liked it!
CONSSpeed might be better also remember to save your code so that you don't have to write it again on reload. Or don't save - you will faster remember material ;)

Went from the free trial to one year Codecademy Pro
Codecademy is a great place to learn coding, and get the fundamentals of a programming language.
PROSThe most interesting feature of Codecademy is that the code can be run from the browser, followed by the examples, and the fact that in almost all the courses you put the learning to test, exercising and writing code.
CONSI liked least the variety of courses, but I am sure that the content will be improved in the future.
Reason for choosing Codecademy
Because of Codecademy’s neat features and extensive learning by coding.
Reasons for switching to Codecademy
I made the switch because at the previous company where I worked I received for free the Udemy for Business, and at the actual company Codecademy was my best selection learning wise.

My Review of Codecademy
My overall experience with Codecademy is not good.
PROSI like that Codecademy provides competitions and challenges for the community to enhance their experience. Codecademy is affordable, especially for students as it offers a student discount. Also, I like the talks and sessions that Codecademy organizes weekly where they host people from the industry.
CONSThe user interface is not food to encourage people to study. Codecademy lacks gamification which makes the cycle of learning more exciting. Also, I don't like that most of the courses are out of date and don't qualify me for today's market labor.

A review of Codecademy
My overall experience with Codecademy was positive but a lot of the information I learned I didn’t know how to apply a lot of it to the real world.
PROSCodecademy has has a lot of courses that are available for free and even more that are available if you pay.
CONSIf you want to unlock more courses it is very expensive also the courses don’t give too much context to the exercises .

Good Software
Very good.
PROSI liked the simplicity. It was really easy to use.
CONSNothing that I didn’t like. I wish there was more of interview practice questions like LeetCode has.
