    Pros

We use Curatr because the platform's functionality and features support our learning principles and values. Curatr allows for social, relevant and collaborative learning. The platform is easy to use for both learner and developer. I can create a wide range of learning experiences that brings relevant and timely content to the user. The 'gamified' element gives the user a fun experience. I thoroughly enjoy using this platform.

    Cons

At present, there is nothing I like least about the Curatr platform.

    Pros

The object based nature of the courses makes it super easy to add and update content. The social learning that happens with each of the learning objects means that users collaborate on specific content and share thoughts and ideas. The use of gamification elements is great to motivate users.

    Cons

The theme is a bit limited and would be nice to have a little more control of it.

This solved the problem of people getting involved with their learning and their colleagues.

    Pros

Fairly intuitive to use. Powerful "course" builder. Great for curation and your own documents/media too. Awesome for social interaction.

    Cons

There are always things to be improved, and they are doing that all the time, so very little.

The power of social Learning, content curation and gamifcation by developing online courses

    Ease-of-use

Insights of knowledge and experiences of users, an overview of user generated content, expertspotting, a community is emerging, connecting people

    Pros

Very easy to design and develop MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and SPOCs (Small private Online Courses) with Curatr. We underestimate the power and values of social Learning and MOOCs and interbal online courses in particular. Content is everywhere, so lets curate in the right context. MOOCs are also a marketing vehicle. What do you think of all the comments and user generated content from the users. A lot of insights. De role of the e-moderator is crucial.
We also like the nice analytics and dashboards in the back-end of Curatr.

    Cons

We know the feature of CSS possiblities to create an own look and feel, but maybe nice to choose from different templates. Also we know that in a couple of months it is possible to tag persons in comments and use emoticons. We like the updates and releases of Curatr a couple of times a year.

Make social learning happen fast, curate expertise easily, generate questions that people learn from.

    Pros

    Fairly intuitive to use
    Good start videos on website

    Cons

Helpdesk search function means that searches in user-language rather than developer/Craig- language don't find what you need.
Does not allow you to upload Word docs as an assignment
There should be a more structured project plan for clients to take off the peg and customise

xAPI conformant, Social learning done right and done well, clean learner interface, focused learner interface, impactful learning experience

    Pros

Social learning, clean UI, built in xAPI output in platform. A company that embraces the interoperable learning ecosystem and proactively trying to make that happen. Easy integration with own LRS or 3rd party LRS.

    Cons

Still evolving with built in integrations. Good variety currently, hoping their options and partnerships expand.

    Pros

The software is thoughtfully designed to encourage long-lasting behavioural change in learners. The principle of social learning is embedded throughout and participants are encouraged to reflect and share their thoughts after every learning object. I am encouraged by the thought that sits behind the design of this software. The knowledge of pedagogy and learning in practice is evident everywhere.

    Cons

The lovely thing about Curatr is the growth mindset exhibited by designers. Where there is opportunity to learn from their customers and to improve they listen and design forwards.

Future-proof platform with a lot of potential and great customer service

    Pros

The platform is intuitive enough to use by end users and pretty straightforward for back-end users. It is a simple platform with a lot of possibilities for integration with other platforms (like Vimeo, Survey Monkey, etc.). The platform is in constant development and HT2Labs really listens to the feedback of its (early) adopters.

That being set, the customer service is great. The people take all the time you need to explain, answer questions, search for solutions with you. This is not just a platform, it is a partner with a future-proof vision on e-learning.

    Cons

Some things are still in development and they could speed up the development process here. I'm taling about:
    - the emailing feature which is still in beta
    - the profile & badges system which is not intuitive and very little used by our end users

The Curatr experience is "fun". Course creator = point, click, drag/drop. Learner = gamified!

    Pros

The social element available to the leaners. I like that learning experience is like a game, where the learners can progress and get a visual representation of their progress. XP is a fun element to introduce to learning experience.

    Cons

The limited capacity of gate quiz questions not supporting rich text. I primarily teach software courses and as such students need to see visually accurate programming code syntax. In the current state, the multiple choice gate does not support rich text and the code does not get displayed properly so students have a hard time choosing the correct answer.

I am delighted to use Curatr as the platform for my Women's Development Programme - Velocity

    Value for Money
    Pros

I selected Curatr because it met all the requirements i had that were essential for giving my Velocity participants a great learning experience. I wanted to use lots of great external resources as part of the programme, it had to enable social and collaborative learning, and be accessible from mobile devices - and Curatr met all these needs. Most of all - the Velocity participants really enjoy using it and I have had participants say they like it because 'it isn't at all like e-learning!" I find the administration and reporting is also easy to use.

    Cons

I would like a Community area as well as the individual discussion areas for each piece of content, but other than that there isn't anything I don't like.

It is easy to both create and consume content with Curatr. We find it extremely useful.

    Pros

It combines all the aspects of development we need. It is easy to build and organize content. The interface is intuitive and it is easy for participants to interact meaningfully with one another. The built in game mechanics help tremendously with both workflow for participants and our ability to see how successful we were with course design. For a product with such a broad scope of features it is surprisingly easy to manage and we are able to build robust, customized learning environments.

    Cons

The only real downside of such a versatile platform is that there is a lot to manage. That being said, the utility of the features makes it well worth it.

We did integrate Curatr in our LMS for social learning

    Pros

Very nice looking and easy to learn. I like the flexibility to adapt it to different types of courses and special projects (like a community of practice). Customer service is awesome !

    Cons

The integration with our LMS is difficult: a "Single Sign On" system was programmed to allow our user to join a discussion forum in Curatr without login a second time. The "transfer" from our LMS to Curatr is slow.

    Pros

We first came across Curatr at the Learning Solutions Conference several years ago. We were impressed with their features, but have learned from experience that not all tech providers can deliver on their promises. This was not the case with Curatr. In fact, they have far surpassed our expectations on many levels. The user interface is clean, intuitive and engaging. As we present our learning products to our customers, many times the conversation derails because they want to learn more about the platform we are using. The admin interface is straightforward and provides the ability to create multi-dimensional courses with little time and effort. The gamification components built into the framework of all the objects makes it very easy to take our courses to another level. We have not found this with any other provider. The standout of the Curatr experience though is definitely the Curatr team and the service they provide. They are patient, personable and responsive. We work with many vendors and they are by far our favorite. They provide a great deal of resources and communication associated with the product, making us feel looked after and informed. Lastly, the product is continually evolving in really positive ways. Each month we look forward to the release notice to see what new feature has been added to make Curatr even better.

    Cons

We sell our courses to external customers. Some of the functionality is really geared towards an internal audience and we have to make accommodations.
