Pros/Cons
Pros
- We are confident now that we offer a platform with not only great content, but a great interface and reporting, and enhanced functionality.
- The help desk is responsive, and their team is eager to help you implement exactly what you want for your users. Docebo is my go-to LMS recommendation.
- It has great administrative capabilities for reporting and managing hierarchies, very cool gamification elements, and solid performance and support.
Cons
- The WORST support I have ever encountered. We purchased because of the "new theme" they recently released, however on the third day I was unable to use it at all.
- What really caused massive frustration internally was Docebo's insistence that we either upgrade to the Enterprise service level or continue to experience similar failures.
- Docebo was a terrible experience. They sold us on it telling it had a ton of features that it didn't.
Pros
- Schoology also has a badge rewards system where teachers can reward students for accomplishing certain tasks. Schoology simply is super customizable with a ton of features that other LMS don't offer.
- The customer service for Schoology is fantastic and the professional learning community in Schoology Educators is active and very helpful to anyone from a beginner to an advanced user.
- I really like the user customization abilities, ease for teachers to send announcements, share content and materials, and ease of communication between students, peers and teachers.
Cons
- I had trouble figuring out the Turnitin integration, but that may have been more of a user error on my part.
- Over the years of using Schoology, they have made many updates that have fixed the complaints I've had. My complaints come more from other systems we use, such as single sign on.
- Service unstable on the East Coast as soon as West Coast schools come online and eventually Schoology crashes and becomes totally unavailable.
