Great Product

PROS

GyrusAim is very easy to use and I can easily create the content. For beginners also it is quite easy.

CONS

I think it's missing some advanced features.

Customer Support is the best!

PROS

Customer Service is simply the best. They respond quickly to our questions. When we have an idea about how to make the product better, they listen! I can't tell you how many of my ideas have made it into the current product! They are excited to hear from their customers and always willing to learn from them.

CONS

Their reports can be clunky and hard to create custom ones. The learning curve for this feature is very high. I wish that some of the built in reports could be duplicated so we could customize them to better fit our reporting needs. Despite this, they are willing to assist you when creating your own.

Reasons for switching to GyrusAim

When we looked at the cost, it was extremely expensive to continure with Cornerstone. When researching for a new LMS, we came across GyrusAIM. We tried it out for a month trial and really liked it. Easy to learn, flexible, and customizable to fit our needs.

Gyrus Review

Overall, the product is very good. Gyrus has excellent customer service. They listen and implement reasonable customer suggestions.

PROS

It's really easy to use. In a couple of minutes you can upload a class or run a pre-made report.

CONS

Administrators need to exit out of the employee's record each time they want to view a different page of the record.

Gyrus Aim

PROS

I think it is very easy to use for the end user. The assignments are there in the Individual Development Plan (IDP) and you can see any and all of your assignments and when they are due. One of the main reasons Gyrus Aim was selected by our company was for the end user to have ease of use.

CONS

I have some problems with some of the way the system works. For example if I have a skill assigned to an Organization or job that expires every 2 years and I want to change it to expire every 3 years, I have to unassign it from the ORG and/or job, save it, change the time to 3 years expiration and then reassign it to everyone. This is the same case in some other parts of the system. I changed the default to see 100 lines on a page instead of 50 lines but it only affects new team members. The existing team members did not have it change for them and only see 50 lines per page. I have to go in and manually update the over 700 team members profiles to have them see 100 lines per page.
