I have taken both for credit classes and non credit classes online with OpenEdX. In every case, the experience was enjoyable (even when the subject matter wasn't or was challenging). As noted, take the time up front to get familiar with the application including the various formats of support materials and where to navigate to. I don't hesitate to take a class online with OpenEdX because I know the access and navigation will not be stressful. I have found other education platforms via local universities to be much more challenging and require more support.
