About scormPROXY

scormNEXT is a scorm-cloud solution to host your elearning contents and distribute them remotely to external LMS's. The system stores all your scorm packages (courses, presentations, exercises, etc), PDF files and MP4 videos in a centralized way in the cloud repository of scorm-NEXT. ScormNEXT allows users to Design a product catalog or learning paths by combining the scorm contents of the repository to sell and distributethem to your customers.Register your corporate clients and configure what products they have access to, how many users have access, and how long.

scormPROXY Pricing

We offer three different types of pricing model, so you can choose the one that better fits your bussiness needs: OPTION 1: BY SUBSCRIPTIONS/ENROLLMENTS A fee will be billed at the beginning of each month based on the total number of subscriptions that have been taken out during the previous month. An “enrolment” is considered to be the granting of a licence to a learner for a product (course). OPTION 2: BY CONNECTED USERS At the beginning of each month, a fee will be billed based on the total number of active users on scorm-NEXT during the previous month. (an active user is a user who has accessed at least one content element (course) during the month. The CLIENT’s internal users necessary for the administration and management of the platform are excluded for billing purposes: administrators, editors and training managers) OPTION 3: ANNUAL FLAT RATE A fixed rate will be billed annually, based on the number of maximum users per month, with no subscription limits.

Flexible configuration options, great support

We needed to be able to deploy our elarning courses to customers either on our own hosted platform, or to be able to deploy to their existing LMS systems. We needed the ability to provide our content securely, and still perform adequately.

PROS

The pricing structures available are very flexible, allowing us to be able to configure our e-learning system pricing in line with our business pricing model. It's ability to manage a bunch of customers (not just end users), makes it easy for us to do our client management in the portal, rather than use an external system.

CONS

There are some limits in file sizes when creating very large embedded video files (max file size of 2Gb), but if you create your video based SCORM packages and embed from other secure services like Vimeo, this does not pose any real issues. Other than that, it's just an early version of a product, and there are some small issues in the user interface, but nothing that stopped any functionality. Currently, the multi-lingual capabilities are a little bit mixed (it's natively in Spanish), but the majority of the system reports everything in english (or a combination of both)

Perfect solution to provide and manage training in other platforms

We can better serve the training needs of our clients with this solution. This is an integral part of our training delivery.

PROS

The portal is easy to use and set up. The support is very reactive and comes with a solution fast.

CONS

Lack of automation and APIs, but this is being worked on currently.

You are right, we are currently deploying the new API feature for our clients. With this API, you will be able to automate your processes as well as connect scormNEXT with other platforms to exchange data. We will also deploy very soon the support for Single-Sign-On (SSO) to login automatically to our Admin Panel. Also, we have plans in our roadmap to include "webhooks" to allow you to call to a external API when some event is triggered. We hope you like all these new features!

Its a great alternative to the big brands

The ability to manage all of your content from one location and keep an overview off all the customers that have access to it is a very powerful tool. My experience so far has been great and I would fully recommend it

PROS

The customer support and the real interest to help from the company. When you get work with Scormnext you get more than just a product/software, you get a team of people that will support you though every step with any question. Besides that, the Scormnext team is open for suggestions and very capable.

CONS

The UIX might be a little confusing at the beginning

Valoración Scorm Next Hedima

Nos resulta muy útil a la hora de crear conectores para nuestros scorm de catálogo propio, poder facilitarlos al cliente para ubicarlos en sus plataformas y poder llevar un control de los consumos

Nos resulta muy útil a la hora de crear conectores para nuestros scorm de catálogo propio, poder facilitarlos al cliente para ubicarlos en sus plataformas y poder llevar un control de los consumos. La subida a repo de los contenidos es sencilla. Se puede controlar si un cliente está activo, el número de licencias o el periodo hasta el que pueden estar activas.

CONS

En su momento ya comenté que tiene consultas muy potentes para poder controlar todo el uso y consumo, a nivel de cliente, de producto, por fechas, etc pero luego no se pueden exportar o siquiera copiar algunas de ellas. Por otra parte aún me resulta un poco lioso saber cuando sí hago la modificación de un scorm a nivel de repo tengo que volver a realizar el proceso de publicación y paso de nuevo del scorm al cliente. Uno de los inconvenientes que vemos es que a veces queremos poner a un cliente varias url's, más de 2 o aprovechar para añadir alguna url secuendaria propia para realizar la prueba de funcionamiento en alguna plataforma de pruebas y no nos deja o nos dice que ya está en otro cliente. Sería más sencillo por ejemplo poder poner para un determinado producto, todas las url's en donde quieres que funcione.

Muy buen servicio

Las ventajas que nos aporta a nuestra empresa son muchas entre ellas poder finalizar los cursos automáticamente sin molestar a nuestros clientes y alumnos que es algo muy importante.

PROS

Aparte del servicio que nos hace lo que más me gusta es el servicio técnico que es impecable, rápido y muy proactivo, a día de hoy si no hemos cambiado de compañía es por el genial servicio que nos dan.

CONS

Quizás lo único que mejoraría sería que la interfaz fuese más intuitiva pero se ve que es algo en lo que están trabajando ya que en los años que llevamos usando scorm next han ido mejorando mucho en este aspecto.
