About Visme

Visme is a cloud-based platform, which helps agencies, non-profit organizations and marketers create and share infographics in real-time. The software allows teams to utilize customizable templates and content blocks to create presentations and data visualizations.

Businesses can embed infographics on websites, share them on social media accounts, download them for offline use and secure with password protection. It enables managers to use custom font styles, size and colors, find similar images, swap icons and more to create interactive infographics or reports. Visme lets professionals download the infographics as PDFs, HTML5 or high-resolution images.

The system helps administrators to add videos, images, documents and forms in the infographic and gain insights into engagement analytics. Visme is available for free and on monthly or annual subscriptions and support is extended via FAQs, a knowledge base, video tutorials and other online measures.

Visme is Great for Marketing Teams!

Overall we (my marketing team and I) love it. We use it for everything - marketing materials, catalogs, social posts, web graphics, posters, etc. It has thousands of templates and it's fun and easy to use. Cannot recommend enough!

Pros:

Incredibly easy to use. So many template options - everything from web-based graphics, to social, to large-scale print - I don't know what we did before Visme, honestly.

Cons:

There can be tech issues - like it will ask us to sign in multiple times a day, or it won't refresh the projects we're working on. That's by far the most frustrating aspect of the platform.

Paycheck to Wealth Content Creating with Visme

My experience with Visme has been very rewarding. I am able to create content on a regular basis and have the content added to my Social Media sites to help strengthen my brand.

Pros:

Visme is easy to use, and it is constantly introducing new features that help enhance the projects that you are creating. Visme also has several templates to choose from to help get you started with your project. Finally, there is a large library of media content that can easily be added to your project.

Cons:

Often I create the content using my original ideas and materials, but because music audio is used from the Visme library, the overall project is subject to Visme's use policy.

Visme had a media library that was more suitable to my use case.

Making Presentation Materials Professional

I am producing better quality presentations -- brochures, reports, infographics, marketing materials, etc. -- faster and more affordably. The generous free offerings allowed me enough time and experience with the software to realize its value and become a paid subscriber.

Pros:

Visme makes top-quality presentations faster, simpler and less costly to produce. It's also quite easy to use and I've yet to experience a technical hiccup that's impaired productivity.

Cons:

Some features are not as intuitive as others. However, this can be because I am accustomed to Microsoft Publisher and PowerPoint features and Visme's do not necessarily comply.

What is great, is GREAT! What isn’t, isn’t…

I have used Visme for some time now and while graphics and some aspects have gotten better, support and ease of use is decreasing. But hopefully with honest feedback, these are things that can easily and quickly change.

I love how easy it is to download and integrate content into our website. I love the look of it and how fun it is!

Cons:

It is very difficult to manage some aspects of the system, specifically resizing if the background (project size.) There was a resize button that allowed me to resize the project; however, it has been replaced with an AI option that does NOT work properly. When using AI to resize, it creates an entirely new project and doesn’t copy assets over the same. Resizing is a nightmare and I desperately want the resize button back. I’m also have reached out twice about this issue for help and have received no response whatsoever.

Visme is a fairly easy tool to use

Fairly easy and produces a decent presentation or graphic. Not to complicated to figure out. Better than using PowerPoint, providing a more polished, professional look.

How can this software have so many fans?

I tried it on a recommendation from a designer and expected to be blown away, but found every step of it frustrating. It may be because I have been spoiled by other tools, but I don't know how it has so many fans out there.

Lots of high-quality templates to choose from, though they are not easy to search.

Cons:

I don't understand why anyone would choose this software when Canva and AdobeExpress are out there. The interface is clunky, the design tools are limited, and the rendering is also limited.

Each feature in Visme is incredibly intuitive. It does what you expect without 9 extra steps. I also appreciate the community forum - developers listen to our needs/requests and we get a chance to test out new features & give feedback! The customer support is great. Visme is a user-friendly tool that allows me to produce professional quality presentations, coursework & promotions at a cost that is affordable.

Cons:

I have no complaints! Any time I have a concern or question, customer service and/or the Visme Community helps me through it!

Reasons for switching to Visme

Canva has a steeper learning curve for someone who is unfamiliar with design & visual communications software. Additionally, when comparing similar price points, Visme offers more features and support.

Cons:

Pricing is much higher than comparable products and have to buy multiple licences. Storage limits.

Top tool you cannot work without

Visme is great, it's an all-around tool that gives me complete control over my designs. The stock images, videos and audio are a win in themselves without all the other great features. It is easy to use and I do not know what I would do without it now.

Pros:

I love the AI features to help enhance your projects. Visme are always improving and adding new helpful features to make creation time faster. The editing tools are also very helpful in creating images for projects outside of visme.

Cons:

I do not dislike anything about Visme so i'll share some of my wishes for future improvements instead. I would like to see more detail on the activity dashboard and exporting to other formats to edit offline. I would also like to be able to create animated videos where I can create a scenario and the mouths of the charter nove based on my prompts.

Reasons for choosing Visme

The ability to export to HTML. However, now it would be all the great AI features and customisable avatars.
