Love that I can aggregate all my logs from multiple AWS services (a large fleet of EC2 instances and thousands of Lambdas) in to a single log stream.

The ease of setup, especially on kubernetes, is outstanding. The web application features are rich and provide us almost all of the tools we need.

The customer support is attentive and helpful with any question.

The search engine is super user friendly and easy to use. It was a simple process to integrate with the existing code base.

Very quick setup on all platforms, especially Kubernetes. Solid UI, fast tailing of real-time logs, structured logging and good search capabilities.

It is also priced well for high volume. Lastly, it integrates well with other platforms, in particular the Heroku setup is really nice.

The ramp up experience has been pleasant and easy, and I love having very direct access to various parts of their team.

It is a very robust software, allows to easily view the logs for debug complex applications. It has good functionalities like seeing the context of the logs.

The overall developer experience is good, and quite intuitive to build graphs and dashboards.

We have to restart at least one logspout container each 1-2 weeks. And there ARE NO ALERTS that things aren't ingesting properly.

There has not been much of cons for our use case but once I did feel there has been an issue with log ingestion where we missed some logs.

I didn't have any searchable log solution before, so it was the main benefit it provided us. The nice ui is good too.

We needed some way to have per-cluster views/searches, otherwise it would be very difficult to navigate.

So we use LogDNA to store all of those transcripts and when errors occur we can pull them up via LogDNA and debug what happened.

The indexing lag lately has been a bit high. Sometimes we get alerted to errors in Slack from our apps and it takes a few minutes before we can read the logs to see what happened.

In the recent release, there is some problem with the search it seems. Getting irrelevant logs.

The queries can be difficult to compose sometimes.

The search feature works pretty fast giving you reports whenever you need info. It has a rather simplified interface that makes you just think of a mobile app.

The API integration can be difficult to leverage the more advanced features, such as log monitoring.

You can search in complex or basic queries so it is good for both new and experienced users. Searching is powerful and fast and user data can be shared with the organization.

Poor account management. Performance can be very bad for searches over large data sets or long timeframes.

In addition, you can analyze every log and mine all useful data. It integrates seamlessly with cloud providers and you get the most done with AWS right by your side.

The flexibility to create your own queries and form dashboards on this is great. You just have to play around and understand the data.

I use Sumo Logic to ingest logs across a fleet of about 125 servers, including Windows and Linux servers. Setup was pretty straightforward.

Really good user interface. The speed of the search is decent.

Also, if you're stuck at any point, you can reach out to customer care and have your issue addressed in good time.

Powerful tools for analysing logs and extracting useful information. Variety of different reporting methods and a good quality log exporter.

The Sumo Logic dashboard is very clear for engineers, and also has a presentation mode that is ideal for display on a large wall monitor for other stakeholders.

It is very navigable and offers perfect ui which is very intuitive. You can write any type of query , sumo logic will have answer to that type.

It's powerful and is approachable by both the experienced and inexperienced. Once you get into the deeper functionality, you can do pretty much whatever needs to be done with this tool.

This is a very good value for money log searching tool for startup and small businesses.

API integration for simple counts, creating alerts, and setting thresholds is simple enough and easily achievable by following the online documentation and examples.

Especially the costing of frequent/infrequent/contimuous tier. Integration is bit difficult , but our folks worked together to integrate sumologic for pur business needs.
