Cliniconex provides email, phone and text reminders to patients

We had unacceptable NO-Show rates, costing money for unfilled appointments; Implementation of reminders significantly reduced No-Show rates. We have used this product for almost 4 years. There was nothing else available at the time.

PROS

Easy to set up, and customize; on boarding process walks through options. Great customer service, quick response time. Easy to use for clients. Reminders are generally appreciated by clients. Different options for clients to choose phone, email or text reminders.

CONS

The cost is significant at $0.35 per reminder. Other vendors provide similar products (thought not as comprehensive) for less money ( $0.10 per reminder by text)

Reason for choosing Cliniconex

I am considering HealthMyself (Pomelo Health) for text reminders, as we have this platform connected to our EMR. It provides only email reminders as a base, with the option for text reminders as an add on. However, I don't think there an option for telephone reminders, and many patients (may include those more likely to forget appointments) can only receive telephone reminders to their home phones. (no email address or cell phone). So, I am likely to continue with Cliniconex for a small population, not using email and text reminders.

So, if you send an appointment reminder via text to a patient, that will include the initial message, their response and any follow-up instructions you may have. The best part? No character limits! We know you can have a lot of specific information you need to share with your patients.

Cliniconex is a game changer for us!

Cliniconex has wonderful customer support that help you long after implementation and respond almost immediately.

PROS

The ability to automatically send an appointment reminder to the resident and/or responsible party from an appointment that is entered in our electronic health record saves us so much time, leaving that extra time for us to spend with our resident. The ability to send out daily/weekly updates during the pandemic to our families has created a sense of security and involvement with our families that is not time consuming at all for staff to generate.

CONS

The cons with the software's integration with our electronic health record is that we cannot change when the reminder is sent when an appointment is scheduled - the reminder is automatically sent 5 days out from the date of the appointment. It would be nice to have the option to send the reminder when the appointment is created.

as explained above freeing up workers time

PROS

This has reduced the number of phone calls the office staff has to make to confirm appts with patients. Freeing them for other duties

CONS

Wish it could be a little more specific for appts for the different doctors. (IE one of our doctors requires a health history questionnaire where the other doesn't and would be nice for the reminder to bring this was ONLY on the appts for that doctor

great product with Amazing support

To date, it has been a great relationship and product from our point of view. we hope it continues to expand and improve with more options.

PROS

The set up and installation was quite simple. They offer a very hands on approach and great customer support through the process. Any changes, updates and modifications are always simple and accurate.

CONS

Adding more features to their current product would be helpful. Such as, voice to word dictation on incoming calls and messages.

Cliniconex

WE are pleased with the product adn will be expanding our overall use as we move forward.

PROS

Our company (Skilled Rehabilitation) started using the product when the COVID outbreak began. We decided to use this as a way to efficiently communicate with our resident's and family members to keep them a brisk of the ever changing environment. As a company we have been very pleased with ability to adapt and individualize the messages for each facility and or situation.

CONS

The report function is a nice feature but would be easier to review and or follow up on if the report could be accessed from the site and if it was easier to determine which resident/responsible party contact number was a concern.

We choose this product because it was a component of Point Click Care. Because of this we could send messages and have documented proof in the individual resident record of notification.

This software is well controlled and designed. The work this software does saves us money on a full time position, and we can utilize that position elsewhere in our company.

Excellent service

I've been extremely happy with Cliniconex. They are super helpful and easy to communicate with, as well as affordable. It has taken a lot of work off my staffs shoulders.

PROS

Changes are made upon request almost instantaneously. I find they are incredibly helpful when I request/add changes.

CONS

I would like a little bit more control over changes, but I think they work well with what they have!

Cliniconex Review

This product has streamlined our Business Office practices and deceased the amount of time having to manually call out to families. We have been able to communicate more efficiently with families and send out timely updates/changes. By utilizing the scheduling feature it has helped with scheduling of meetings and increased attendance at the meetings with the reminder feature. The ability to have a confirmation in the chart helps with tracking and reporting that is needed.

PROS

This product is easy to configure and use. The implementation process what simple and easy. It streamlined our business process around communicating to families as well as scheduling of appointments.

CONS

I feel this software could be improved by adding the ability to add an attachment. Most of our contacts have chosen the email format to receive messages, it would be nice to be able to add an attachment to save a step of a follow up email if more information needs to be shared.

Review

We need to solve the problem of "we didn't know this appointment was in-person or by phone" as we do not have the capabilities to modify the reminders based on the appointment type.

PROS

The best feature about cliniconex is that it lets us know if the appointment reminder was sent, confirmed or cancelled in Accuro as a status. Without us having to look anywhere else.

CONS

I believe it is missing a key feature. As a multidisciplinary clinic we need to modify the appointment reminders be sent based on the appointment type. This would be extremely helpful, especially during the pandemic where we are seeing patients virtual and in-person. Each reminder needs specific instructions.

We choose Clinicconex because it is what Accuro has recommended.

Clinic reminders

Much less labour intensive for our staff. Have not had to call and get schedule uploaded.

PROS

The fact that you can differentiate when the person has confirmed themselves and when the system confirms their appointments. The ability to set different messages for different types of appointments

Jumping In

Our experience with Cliniconex was GREAT! They were always willing to help, answer questions and ensure we got out start.

PROS

The product is easy to use and is time saving when used to the full potential.

CONS

Implementation was a struggle but that was specifically due to our inability to move forward due to Covid and staffing.
