SigmaCare EHR Software

SigmaCare’s electronic health records (EHR) solution is designed for assisted living communities, long-term care facilities and post-acute care organizations. Its dashboard interface makes information easily accessible to all members of the care team.

The EHR platform includes advanced clinical decision support, analytics and financial tools that could help organizations cut costs and simplify the way patient care is recorded. Modules include resident-specific automated alerts and suggestions for resident treatment interventions or alternatives.

Other software products offered by SigmaCare include Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE), Medication Management and Financials. Along with CompleteEHR, administrators can purchase these solutions separately or combine them to best fit their needs.

SigmaCare was established in 2005. Resources such as a U.S.-based customer support team and online learning center facilitate the transition to its software.

Decent EHR software

Value for Money

I find that sigma is a decent EHR software. Especially when it comes to the basics

It covers all the basics of an EHR

When it comes to vitals, it doesn't give you the ability to use one set of vitals for your medications. I feel that there should be a feature that allows this. It doesn't, screen duplicate orders. As a result, this creates more room fo medication errors. Their search feature could be more streamlined and becomes tedious to work with and doesn't allow to search by category. Instead, you have to use very specific string searches.

Advice to Others

It's a decent program, but not the most efficient
