Pros
- My overall experience with AutoCAD has been wonderful, it a very helpful tool and provides a lot of features than helps on designing and reviewing drawings.
- AutoCAD is very easy and friendly in use, there is very easy command in AutoCAD which I love the most.
- AutoCAD is a solid software, with a friendly interface and with some practice is easy to use. Helps a lot with drafting processes from scratch, and you can use it in any level of the design process.
Cons
- The line style selection can be confusing as the line style chosen may not reflect properly when exported. The cursor snapping options can be confusing/ bothersome sometimes.
- Bad news for new users, AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT 2019 are only available by subscription unlimited licenses are no longer available.
- It is very hard to have even the least amount of dislike for anything this product has offered over the years.
Pros
- Microstation is very good software to make drawings Specially for Brown filed projects. It is Very easy to attach maps,Coordinates and Feeling satisfaction towards by producing Quality drawings.
- The ease of use is amazing, I had never used microstation before starting at BV, and the learning curve for microstation was minimal.
- Now I am using for electricity distribution and transmission industry. It is a fantastic software for all the industries.
Cons
- I dislike the functionality of microstation. It is not user-friendly in the least bit.
- Can't open different file in views at the same time, you can only work on one file at one time, which is inconvenient.
- Lately, as mentioned above, Microstation has been transitioning over to OpenRoads Designer Connect edition which is been difficult at times to work with.
