CMX review

Although we moved from one electronic system to another, ActivityStudio® is a better platform and we are much happier with our ability to track site performance from headquarters and conduct audits, and build action plans from tablets in the field. Our managers really appreciate how much easier the site is to use compared to our previous system.

PROS

First and foremost activity studio is what mainly drew us to CMX. For a content editor being about to QUICKLY build forms and implement them has helped us be more nimble in the field. We are seeing trends and are able to build something to attack them quickly and efficiently. Personally, I love the repeat violation functionality. This is something that even as a restaurant operator I can see opportunities in my own operation, by the way of a repeat flag, repeat scores, and how repeats are reported on. Some other benefits for us are the offline/online user experience, reporting suite, and the ability to leverage the software with other departments in our organization.

CONS

I wouldn't say there is anything we don't like about the program. We are eager for more development within the current software to engage other departments, touch different aspects in the restaurants.

Reasons for switching to CMX1 Platform

We didn't have a ton of problems with the product. It was the support we received over many years. They didn't seem to care what their client's individual needs were. CMX has been a huge plus for us in this arena.

One Platform to Rule them All

I have grown with the CMX team and their various platforms for 7 years and I am even more satisfied with the product today than I was when we started. The CMX team has listened to our feedback, incorporated our wildest wishes/desires, and has been the definition of a partner along the way.

PROS

Activity Studio is a game-changer in the ability to create amazingly complex and sophisticated forms that can be answered by internal or external parties. Gone are the days of change requests for individual forms or workflows which saves hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for active programs.

CONS

As with any software that empowers customers to use the features in innovative ways, we regularly run into bugs and unintended consequences of configurations. This can cause some delay in the completion of workflows as the CMX team debugs and resolves the issues, which they are always eager and happy to do.

The CMX team instilled the confidence that they would deliver the product we needed, within the timeline and budget we wanted and they continue to deliver on that promise.

Ease of implementation and use.

The platform allowed us to take our checklists/audits from paper to digital which provides a real-time review of our restaurant's compliance. Our above restaurant management can easily access the information they require to make operational corrections when needed.

PROS

CMX is a user-friendly platform that takes the guesswork out of your daily routine for your end-users.

CONS

I feel the reporting piece needs improvement. The system is missing some customized functions that I was looking for to better assist my upper management team.
