Pros/Cons
Pros
- And the fact that Creo Illustrate can be used for technical illustrations is great - it allows me to create beautiful visuals with ease.
- The advantage of Creo software is that it is very easy to use and learn with powerful 3D modeling capabilities. It is flexible and customizable.
- Overall, I think Creo is one of the best if not the top in terms of 3d designing and assembly, more complex and has more features compered to others like Solidworks.
Cons
- I'm not sure if it's just me, but for some reason, my wire drawings sometimes make the program crash and this can be very distracting / infuriating.
- The software is very hard to use. There is nothing intuitive about how to model using Creo.
- No face to face training. All on line is NOT the way to educate Engineers.
Pros
- The drawing options are very good and quality drafts are produced in very little time. The software is more powerful and stable than some other brands and the support staff in Australia is fantastic.
- It is easy to understand, the user interface is wonderful and is very easy to use. It gives an in depth knowledge of designing of products.
- What is best and easy i like it in solid Edge is 2D drawing cad tools , 3D tools , Selecting plane and surface and assembling.
Cons
- The user interface of this software is bit messy which makes its user to get bored soon. The software is very confusing to learn and operate.
- The software should not proceed for next design steps if there is error in sketching.
- Takes time to open, some errors are unrecoverable.
