BC One stop ERP solution

PROS

It is a very ease to use software similar to just like using Excel Spreadsheet. As per my opinion it is a very effective product available today for all our Enterprise Building Solution. All the functions in Business Central are very Great and can be very fruitful for the Business if adapted effectively and efficiently.

The new way to do business

Our business is running smoother since changing but we are slowly getting everything in the new system. It is taking some time but it easy to find orders/invoices when you know what to look for. I use it daily to send invoices, correct price errors, correct PO numbers.

PROS

I like that we are able to have all of our stages in one program. From our quotes to our invoices, we can keep track of the progress of each transaction. You can search by customer, order number, PO number, amount and there are many more options. After some training and a better understanding of how accounting works, I have excelled at understanding what needs to be done to correct issues or fix errors. I appreciate the ability to put notes on each quote, order, and invoice.

CONS

I wish there was a little more features such as having automatic invoices from multiple vendors but I think they may be working on that. I also wish there was a creation date for invoices and not just a posting date. I also wish there was a way to link invoices after you have made a change/correction such as the PO number being incorrect. Once you change the PO number, you have no idea that it went to another invoice.

Reasons for switching to Dynamics 365 Business Central

We were growing and QuickBooks was too slow for our traffic. Plus the functionality is greater with NAV.

DONT PUT YOUR TEAM THROUGH THIS

PROS

As some on who has to use this software daily in a client facing role this is the worst product in the world. If you are the product procurement officers and looking for a CRM, you will be hated for years, long after you are gone if you make your co workers use this product. Even making a client card is like puling teeth, the search query for products is ridiculously hard to use.

CONS

This software makes me want to quit my job because it is so difficult to do any part of the sales process on it. Searching products, making quotes, checking my orders. Also there is no notifications so you dont know when your case has moved along unless you go and physically check it which is also not easy. Once again, if you buy this product you a damning your co workers to years of mental anguish and some might genuinely start hating their job so much that they quit. YOU WERE WARNED.

Dynamics Review

PROS

It easily integrates with Microsoft products and has a full set of features that we use regularly.

CONS

Like any software it has a learning curve. This takes time and effort of the individuals teaching and those learning.

A good alternative to organize and grow your business.

Here are some of the specific benefits I've experienced since using Dynamics 365:• Greater productivity and profitablity• Improved forecasting and analysis• Effective monitoring of inputs and outputs.• Easy to use interface that can be accessed from anywhere, anytime• Optimized workflow• Easy access to customer data

PROS

I like Microsoft Dynamics since it synchronizes very well with the office suite, it has helped me increase productivity and profitability. It offers analysis and reporting tools to make forecasts, as well as the ability to monitor the inputs and outputs of the projects I am in charge of.Dynamics 365 allows me to get the requirements from my clients as well as my supplier partners with ease and has helped me create a perfect wokflow for my business. Additionally, Dynamics 365 allows me to onboard new clients, collect and save their data, and easily access it when I need it.

CONS

A negative point is its price, it is expensive. And synchronization with other platforms is dificult, from my point of view it should be more open for better interaction with other software.

Dynamic 365 business central review

We had some problems due to wrong setting, after the intention by the customer service, we went through a training process, then when could handle and management the software to drive the business with more effectivity.

It is perfect solution for small scale business management.Based on it cloud option, we can link operations for more effectiveness and performance.The software have a limited trial versionThe dashboard can give all statistics and the final income or loss at Anny moment Allez powerful management of the stocks

CONS

To customize the software s not easy at all. Tables cannot me modif.Cloud need to be updated ,it takes too long handle the way to Link operations.

Average Accounting System, difficult to use AP area

Many report options and mostly easy to use.

CONS

Cannot easily and cleanly download reports to Excel. AP area is complicated to use with system glitches and basic info. like totals not included in reports.

Functional and Precise

PROS

Great store for customer information and data, relatively simple to get to grips with, and an efficient search function.

CONS

Can run slowly if there are a high number of users, and missing some features like batch c and p. That would be useful and time-saving.

Dynamics 365 Business Central - One Stop Business Management solution

It saves time by processing huge amounts of data in few secs and keeps records of everything that we want and helps a lot in inventory management and resource planning as per Customer's requirement.Helps to calculate profit/loss on monthly basis/yearly basis.

PROS

Every firm/business needs a solution for managing Daily Ledger, Inventory management, Supply chain management, Process Management, Accounting management, HR management, Profit Management, etc - Dynamics 365 Business Central has everything available in a single software which can be accessed on all types of devices running on different platforms. It provides flexibility to the users to work from anywhere/ anytime by having authorized access. It has top level encryption to keep your data safe and keeps a log of it in its database to compare and analyze data according to our need. I mostly use it for Project management and Process management.

CONS

The user interface of the software is little complex one as use of icons is very less due to which we have to read the name of that particular option/field which we want to choose. Rest there are no cons according to my use

Not for Case Management

It was used as case management for the Board of Professional Responsibility. The needs did not match the software functionality.

PROS

There were some cool features like the filter capabilities. The dashboard was customizable which was nice. You could see what was important to you.

CONS

I did not like using DMS for case management. It was cumbersome and very touchy. If you clicked anything that was green it would take you to another page. Many times information would have to be input in several places. There is no easy way to view a lot of information at once on your screen using this software. To read an entire case’s history you would have to open numerous other pages.

It has been a good product in managing business and its resources. Implementing it makes you learn a lot about what goes into managing and running a standard business

PROS

it’s a detailed ERP software that can function on its own without tiresome integrations even though it has accommodation for API integrations

CONS

The fact that the license is a bit expensive so it’s best for large companies with lots of users.

Business Central has more features when compared with Dynamics NAV and it being web based is also a plus unlike installing the rich client for every client’s machine

Maybe Wonderful IF You're an Accounting guru

As a Project Manager, MS Nav is more of a hassle than it should be. No fields automatically fill and you are often entering the same information multiple time. For example, even though you Login with your Username and Password - You must fill in Who you are, What Division you work for, What Sub Company you Work for, List your manager, the Date - All just to write an order. Also, each line item in a PO requires the date to be entered 3x and the job number to be typed after each item. Unacceptable when it comes to productivity and user friendliness

Needed an upgraded accounting system

PROS

This system offers a lot of reporting options. It helps us keep track of multiple businesses in one system.

CONS

The initial set-up and use of this system was a little difficult. The training was not as thorough as it could have been by the BC team. Once we received actual system use it was easier to kind of train ourselves on the system features and the best ways to make the system work for us.

Unnecessarily complicated and expensive to implement reports are terrible.

Terrible. I have been used at least 3 other systems and all of the others have been more intuitive. This product is a mess. Worst decision we have made with our startup is selecting this software.

PROS

It is not a bad looking interface. That is the only positive thing I can say about this software.

CONS

The software is not at all intuitive, very little is possible to do out of the box, everything requires expensive consultant time to set up, and even simple reports are hard to generate. Way, way too complicated to do basic things. It leaves us with little functional reporting and a lot of frustrating headaches. By the time you realize you have made a mistake implementing its way too late.

We were told it was good by a consultant who (surprise), installed the product for us and charges us a boatload to do it.

Our 18 month experience on MS Dynamics

PROS

MS Dynamics is pretty user-friendly considering the other CRM products in the market. It's got a pretty good coverage in terms of customer engagement process. Right from Presales interaction center to post sales Services, it covers most processes. Microsoft as a vendor is placed well to offer this as a cloud offering as its also owns Azzure MS Dynamics does have a mobile app for Apple devices which is pretty useful and easy to use. That helps in user adoption on field. The support provided by MS is good, but gets activated only when situation gets into emergency mode.

CONS

The comercials could have been more affordable. I would have loved more seamless integration between Dynamics and Navision as both are from the same family. Easy to deploy mobile applications for Andriod phone is something which would have been really useful

I can't find one possible highlight at all. It will drain your energy and extinguish your very soul.

The least user friendly system you will ever have the misfortune to use. It will make your working day so much longer and less bearable and turn easy tasks into impossible nightmares.

Great software that covers all operation of real estate management.

We can provide better customer service because everybody finds their needed information faster and more secure. That is a big advantage for all.

PROS

The best thing is that we got rid of many Excel-files that provided the connections between our individual tasks. Now there all data in one place and everybody can can get to their taks-realted information and data easliy. That is a big progress for all!

CONS

Due to the one-software-covers-the-whole-company idea, it is complex and needs some training. But the PMX-people are always there for us on the other hand.

Clunky navigation! And the email integration is rough.

PROS

The dashboards and deal registration for our sales team works well. Advanced finds have been helpful.

CONS

ClickDimensions as a marketing tool is hard to navigate. And I don't feel like the modules make sense.

Easy system to use

PROS

Microsoft NAV is easy to use and navigate, performs well and being in HR the functions I need are easy to get to

CONS

Not sure if this is a function selected in the implementation process but the only part I don't like is that payroll does not have access to the employee profiles and only HR can update their information

Good for property management if you use the add-on

I liked the solution so far, it's easy to learn and use, even if requires some time to understand the logic. Just as any other software I guess. Together, it's a great solution, allows us to manage all aspects from accounting to leasing to reporting. We use it on a subscription base.

PROS

Flexible can be adjusted to our business. NAV partner Admiral is very supportive. We liked subscription option, did not need to invest upfront. Integrated accounting and lease management allow having all numbers in one place and it gets easy to analyze. Much faster tenant billing process than we had before. Good training material from Soft4RealEstate.

CONS

Smart NAV partner is needed. Even with a subscription, there is a set-up fee and we had to invest some amounts into development. But now we have what we need. Much of info on NAV in Customersource, but need time to search for it.
