Pros/Cons
Pros
- The customer service group at FB understand manufacturing and are always there to guide you along the way. Great product, great price, great customer service.
- Fishbowl is a great asset to our company. It has been wonderful in helping us manage inventory for our warehouse and tracking errors.
- I liked the interface, the ease of use and how it synched flawlessly with Quickbooks.
Cons
- The product is deceiving and lacks functionality for the processes we utilized for our company. They were unable to tailor the product to our needs even though they sold us on that in the beginning.
- The system was very hard to follow and the initial integration was a nightmare. We had no customer service to help push us forward with a go live date and further onsite training was denied.
- I tell all customers to minimize customization of products and keep them as close as possible to out of the box. This is difficult with business that are accustom to their old processes.
Pros
- JobBOSS has been the perfect fit for our organization and we are continuing to expand upon the base package we started with.
- I like that it is pretty simple to use once you get the hang of where everything is. The customer service was very helpful.
- JobBOSS was very easy to learn to use. As a vendor, Exact's support reps are always very friendly and helpful with solutions.
Cons
- Vendor webinars were a waste of time. There is no lesson plan and the teachers don't seem to want to answer specific questions about the problems we were having with set up.
- We had some problems with the security database that was separate from the SQL application database. I believe this issue has been addressed in the most recent version.
- We have a lot of obsolete raw materials in the system that have not been used in years, but since they have been used in previous records, it cannot be removed.
