Pros/Cons
Pros
- I can model parts and do an assembly in the same work space and that is a very nice and effective way of doing stuff. This is a very good software fore beginners to work with.
- Customer service is fantastic and very prompt. They do a very good job of making sure that you are integrating to exactly your needs.
- Fusion 360 is a very good tool to get 3d models done, the interface is easy to understand and straight forward, and you get great value for what the software costs.
Cons
- Coding itself is bad and people with coding background including myself thinks that this one software is built upon 2 different programming languages that contradict each other.
- Sometimes it slows down or chrashes when working on heavy files or gives login problems once in a while.
- Fusion is a little confusing and needs earlier experience on any 3d modelling or cad software in order to use this.
Pros
- If you use the chat you will have mostly an answer within a couple of minutes from one of the lovely simscale staff. You really feel that they will do their best to make your project a success.
- Clear guide for the input of the parameters. Fantastic support: fast, competent and helpful.
- It is easy to use and easy to access. Straight forwardness of the most functions which is good sometimes.
Cons
- There are problems sometimes with darawing or software and you are not quite sure what is really wrong that sumulation can not start.
- Sometimes it was a bit confusing what could create a simulation fail.
- Maybe, the website is a little bit confusing, and the materials in some case is not updated up to day.
