Pros/Cons
Pros
- So far we are very happy, it gives us more confidence with design as well as the ability to review other options easily without having to go into detailed calculations.
- The response time for any inquires I've had was astounding regardless of the time difference, and the effort put into explaining and answering all my questions was truly amazing.
- Like every program, there are tricks a tips to increase productivity and ease of use. The friendly and helpful staff are more than willing to help you adapt and progress with your operation of H2X.
Cons
- Can be a bit 'clunky' at times, Unknown errors pop up from time to time. No confirmation of errors in design mode.
- There are no warnings within the planning tab advising of the potential to move .pdf backgrounds within the H2X model, nor is there an option (that we found) to lock the .pdf back grounds into place.
- Bugs, we have had issues on a number of times, ie rendering errors. This has impacted on deliverables and meant we had to revert back to the manual process.
Pros
- Overall I have been very pleased with the time savings and cost savings for missed changes on projects. The overlay feature has been a lifesaver when reviewing plan revisions.
- What I like most about this software is the different options for reports that it gives you. I also like how easy and user friendly it is.
- Ease of use, online accessibility, good reporting functionality. I like how professional everything looks and the fact that the tools are fairly easy to pick up.
Cons
- Time to change between sheets can be frustrating.
- Trouble getting some training, then the software was not what we need and the company basically told me tough there is no refunds. So much for a free trial.
- The only complaint I would ever have would be when OUR internet is slow, something the STACK doesn't control.
