Pros/Cons
Pros
- This software has a great capacity for customization, which is great for a shop like ours that does very few repeat orders and has relaxed relationships with many of our customers.
- We have been able to customize E2 reports better than we had expected. We were up and running in a few hours; the training was great and really helpful.
- I like that Job Boss is easy to use. It's fairly user friendly and has good reporting capabilities.
Cons
- Vendor webinars were a waste of time. There is no lesson plan and the teachers don't seem to want to answer specific questions about the problems we were having with set up.
- We had some problems with the security database that was separate from the SQL application database. I believe this issue has been addressed in the most recent version.
- We have a lot of obsolete raw materials in the system that have not been used in years, but since they have been used in previous records, it cannot be removed.
Pros
- It's great do do business with a company that is so customer-focused. I feel like a part of a community, and I feel like the ProShop team cares about our success with their platform.
- There is no better feeling than the feeling that someone cares about your business and its success as much as you do and my appreciation of ProShop, the company, is sincere and warranted.
- Overall experience has been positive. I would highly recommend this software to any company small or large who want an easy to use software the will make them more efficient and better.
Cons
- We find out about the problem instantaneous. There are constant areas in the shop where we can't believe how we were operating before.
- It took us a year to evaluate the software until we finally made the decision to switch. I'm just upset we didn't switch sooner.
- In the beginning, Proshop was a dramatic change from our previously disorganized system.
