- The Katana MRP interface is very easy to use and the steps are logical with help integrated into each section. The access to the knowledge base is good and the support team are efficient.
- I appreciate how much this software has helped me fix my inventory issues. I also love that when I have an issue that I do not know how to resolve, I can schedule a call and get live support.
Cons
- I've encounter a lot of bugs that are quickly fixed, but interfere with projects and daily work. The margins and costs info is a little untrustworthy and hard to read when looking for errors.
- I'm missing one feature, but it's more due to the specific nature of my business.
Pros
- Easy to customize screen according user needs. Integration system with manufacturing and finance.
- It helps in many way to handle and monitor cost. Also it provide many customized reports.
Cons
- Their licensing makes it difficult to run in a typical virtualized environment (Microsoft, VmWare).
- Supposedly the log files are not available once the user's session times-out so we are having a rather difficult time getting it to iron out completely.
