Pros/Cons
Pros
- The capability to drive the processes of the corporation around our quality system was the best of the overral experiencie with the system. It does what it promises.
- Overall experience with Qx has been excellent. Implementing most of the quality event forms had been relatively easy and end users have expressed having a good experience using the system.
- MasterControl quality excellence is easy to configure and maintain and does not require advanced IT knowledge. We especially like the OOS/OOT and document control/training capabilities.
Cons
- There are few constraints and defects using the out of the box processes workflows. Some customizations are required.
- The weakness in MasterControl is that the configurations are so limited.
- For example, I wanted to know where my task disappeared to after I clicked Launch. Could not find an answer.
Pros
- Ease of use rating most impressive. Very user-friendly product, and customer support is great.
- It has powerful, thoughtful, and comprehensive functions. It covers all necessary areas and has interconnection between various modules.
- It's a robust, comprehensive solution from a well-known and established supplier. They have great support and help for customization.
Cons
- Hard to learn, difficult to use, looks horrible, but now its online.
- I cannot say enough about the horrible experiences this has brought upon our company. We are a worldwide company and had used the older SAP for years.
- Integration is often misunderstood. Having all the information available in real time immediately after inputting a transaction is key to understanding the current status of the business.
