Overall it is a good software, that can use updating to support the new generation learning.

Their licensing makes it difficult to run in a typical virtualized environment (Microsoft, VmWare).

Supposedly the log files are not available once the user's session times-out so we are having a rather difficult time getting it to iron out completely.

This product has a lot of nuances entry rules that make the product very difficult to navigate.

Overall, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is a great solution for mature organizations looking for a proven software platform to meet their business needs.

Easy to customize screen according user needs. Integration system with manufacturing and finance.

It helps in many way to handle and monitor cost. Also it provide many customized reports.

While it was very thorough and ensured mistakes are not made in manufacturing, the extra time it took to create something that went to manufacturing only 10% of the time was frustrating.

Can be paired with other software's as well to improve efficiency. I particularly preferred to integrate with TAP accounting.

There are numerous internal bugs (system errors) the program designers need to investigate and fix. The functions are duplicate.

The tool is very easy to learn. I am impressed with the continual investment by Oracle in this product and they are making great strides in having the whole application mobile ready.

Great reporting tool and can be applied to almost any type of business, from manufacturing, to customer service, and finance.

It does take a while to learn all of its features. If you bring in a new employee expect them to be confused for 2 months or so.

At times there are several steps needed to correct an issue or mistake.

But even now under the Oracle umbrella the software continues to be developed further and useful new tools like the Orchestrator add to its capabilities.

This is a great tool for customer service. Having an answer on pricing and availability and historical pricing was awesome.

Navigating through the software is easy and intuitive. I enjoy the ability to filter at the top of each column.

Evaluate if this software is in your price range, since it is very costly for small businesses.

Overall this ERP is best suitable for Mid Sized companies with less cost than SAP to set up and maintain/use.

Also there is limited space availability for writing part descriptions.

It is really hard to find what you need and the overall layout of the page feels very cluttered. There are multiple options that do almost the same thing which can be confusing.

Overall experience has been positive. Being a long-time (5+ years) user, I am very comfortable using the platform and learn new features often.

The interface is also very user friendly. Love that you can load excel tables or easy copy/paste from Excel when entering data into the system.

JDE has been integral to our success in managing the financials, inventory management, supply chain management. It's also easy to integrate other pieces of specialized software.

Works well for most departments and is fairly easy to use/ navigate. Has saved time in several areas and has proven beneficial overall.

Higher charges for changes in features required after setting up the system. Does not configure itself per the browser being used: IE, Firefox, Chrome.

Then only leave specific Qty items to be received on the Bill later. How do you know each bill is correct without finding the old one already filed away.

In the beginning as an administrator it was difficult to give each employee access. Due to a lack of knowledge and categories for all of the functions.

I find the product very easy to use, the importing function has made updating vendor pricing a breeze and the importing of customer payments has saved me an enormous amount of time.

A huge time saver, also documents are professional looking and the ability to pull history from previous orders is great.

It is  great that anytime I need help or have a question their technical support usually can help me within that day to get the problem fixed.

I really like how it's integrated with SanMar and Inksoft. I like the ease of order entry, purchasing/receiving.

There is no need for multiple programs to run our business.

Comprehensive and easy to see the status of any order at any time. Great visual indicators to easily understand the status on any given order.

The system is an all in one integrated system, good tutorials for training and good customer support  Bery robust accounting and production scheduling features.

I heard comments about OnSite from people who have used QuickBooks before, and they keep on complaining that OnSite is too complicated, and it does not do what QuickBooks did for them.

Importing invoices from major suppliers. Good price point for a powerful program.

I particularly like the analysis features so that you can see what you've done in the past vs today and the job cost analysis to see your profit for each order.

Unable to merge multiple work orders into one invoice for the customer. It difficult to receive a bill from a vendor and not be able to match the items.

Easy to use once you understand the system. Keeps track of things so you can really see the Dollars in and out.

For people who have used quickbooks some the accounting processes don't work exactly the same and it can be frustrating until it's figured out.

Good, just wish that the issues when upgrading the software are adjustable.

It has been a reason for our continued growth. The overall customer support has been fabulous, they continue to make the program better and updates are frequently passed along.

Order reconciliation can only be seen in each invoice verses via a report. No API feed to process orders to major suppliers.

Excellent and still discovering ways and making it suit our needs even better.

Their tech support is top notch and solves any issues quickly. They listen to their customer needs and continually update and improve.

I am not sure why the cap the number of users on at a time, but it is very inconvenient when you need to add in an order or print a invoice.

The ease of cloning old Orders. The ease of Searching and the voluminous number of reports you can generate.

It has an obvious lack for the financial side of the business and it very clearly lets you know there are no integrations with Quickbooks, unfortunately.

Being able to search by company, contact or design makes finding past orders and details of those orders easy. There are many reports that can be run to help analyze profit, cost, order types etc.

Customer Support operation is excellent. They are there when you need them - which is not very often.

The ease of moving through the program is nice. You can click through all levels of an order from start to finish.

The support is awesome and the accounting module is very complete and helps with reporting for Sales Tax and Income Tax time.
