THE Best ERP System on the Market - Period

Very smooth and easy implementation, our ProShop trainer/implementor was great to work with and implementation went VERY quickly, we were live on estimating and quoting in the first 2 weeks, were able to see our quoting get more accurate (You can measure that in the system when you win business) and for us to be able to handle 3x the number of quotes with the same staff. The team at ProShop are always there for us, a great group of professionals that support us exceptionally well

PROS

We replaced a lot of highly customized spreadsheets and white boards with ProShop, I have written ERP packages for a living, implemented SAP and Oracle as well as some mid range ERP's and ProShop is hands down THE BEST I have ever come across. We ran an extensive review process of everything out there and nothing came close in the demo's to ProShops capabilities and ease of use. It's just intuative, our team picked it up very quickly and I cannot imagine running our business without it. We implemented the ProShop system and were certified for the first time as a business to ISO9001:2015 in 6 months - we could not have done that without ProShop ! From estimating new parts through to invoicing ProShop does it all well, and everything is easy to find as all the data is linked. We utilize the estimating templates, which we have customized for our specific needs, to create accurate estimates in less time than before we had the system, moving an estimate to a quote takes a couple of mouse clicks, when a customer PO comes in creating a Work Order is another couple of mouse clicks, the same to create packing lists and invoices from the Work Order.

CONS

No Cons Whatsoever - I'd take the exact same decision to implement ProShop in a heartbeat without hesitation as it revolutionized our business - allowing us to do 3x the work with the same staff

ProShop turned Dynamic Balance Machine into a Pro-Shop.

Implementation was easy. The ProShop team was amazing in getting us up to speed incredibly fast. When we receive a re-order from a customer we are able to process parts in the same manner they were processed a year earlier. It is so easy to input information about a process, operation, fixtures, tooling, material, etc... that you can produce a part nearly identical to an original order right down to the details listed on the work order. Being able to instantly access information relevant to your job function is a game changer not only to employees, but to running and growing a successful machine shop. We could not have done it without ProShop.

PROS

Visibility. The biggest thing I like about ProShop is that I am able to see across all machining cells what jobs are being currently processed. I can see from multiple dashboards what is ready for outside processing, ready to inspect, ready to ship to the customer and what has been invoiced. I love that all of the information about a work order is accessible with in the click of a mouse. The other thing I really like is that a Quality Management System is so easy to maintain being built right into ProShop.

CONS

The thing that I least like about ProShop is that we put all this information in the system and we want to be able to customize part labels based on my customers requirements. If we could have this feature available to us we wouldn't have any complaints. This feature request is one that we can't wait to get our hands on.

Reason for choosing ProShop ERP

Ease of use. Training is a breeze for new hires. It is so intuitive you can literally give someone a login show them the menu and they can figure out the most of it for themselves. I mean, we don't do that, but you could. We like the functionality in every aspect. ProShop is built for Manufacturing. The other reason we bought ProShop is that the guys that developed the ERP also ran a machine shop for 20+ years. They have most likely encountered every problem imaginable using ProShop ERP in a manufacturing environment. With the ProShop guys improving ProShop over 20+ years that has given us that much more of a competitive edge in manufacturing without having to overcome the barriers ourselves. Thanks ProShop.

PROS

It is pretty easy to learn. Not much of a learning curve with this. Saves you a lot of time in the end as well by eliminating paper trails

CONS

The interface is a little too much, needs to be a bit cleaner. Sometimes it can be hard to find what you are looking for, but that is just part of the learning curve

Best Investment For Company

Our On-time delivery has increased 30-40% believe it or not. Employees are actually INVOLVED with the QMS because it's all there. We actually have machinists filling out NCR's when the problem happens. And filling out detailed reports with pictures. We find out about the problem instantaneous. There are constant areas in the shop where we can't believe how we were operating before. The integration between all the modules from Estimating, to Orders, to Preventative Maintenance, to the Quality module is so deep it's mind blowing! ProShop has been a total gamechanger for us!

PROS

The TOTAL integration of the company. We were having to use our old ERP plus excel reports, plus gage management software, our own created pdf forms, calibration software. Proshop has combined all of this into one! There is 1 place for employees to go to for EVERYTHING! I have actually locked down our network server more because employees only need to access Proshop now for Quality Manauals, Procedures, Work instructions, drawings, inspection reports, Employee Manuals, training, etc. It's all in there and it's all digital. We have gone 100% paperless!

CONS

There really is nothing to dislike. There are features I would love to see but that's only going to make the software better! It took us a year to evaluate the software until we finally made the decision to switch. I'm just upset we didn't switch sooner.

Reasons for switching to ProShop ERP

I was totally blown away the first time I seen the software. I knew we needed a change. We were stuck in our ways of using an ERP for the last 12 years and we thought we had it figured out. Proshop brought everything together for us. The visibility of the company is there. Not just the manufacturing of the shop.

FLUID AND ORGANIZED

We have resolved any traceability issues by utilizing the uploading feature for all part level drawings, models, and PLs. The more I use Proshop, the more I realize how flexible the system is. There are multiple ways to achieve the same outcome. You can form the software to fit your business needs.

PROS

Proshop organizes every aspect of our company. Traceability and overall accuracy are of most importance. With multiple levels of quality control (including check lists and document verification), Proshop provides security and confidence in our work. The fluidity of each module and their relationship to each other is intuitive.

CONS

In the beginning, Proshop was a dramatic change from our previously disorganized system. We have learned to approach things differently, in a more efficient way with Proshop. Any complaints I may have are easily resolved with research and practice. We have only explored 60% of Proshop's capabilities. We are looking forward to the future.

Reasons for switching to ProShop ERP

Proshop is much easier to use. links work more consistently in Proshop. Proshop is internet based. We don't have to have a separate server on site which would require regular maintenance.

Just what we needed!

Working with ProShop has been a great experience. Multiple members of the team were there to help during training and implementation. All questions and roadblocks were handled in an expedited manner.

PROS

The software is very intuitive, there are hyperlinks everywhere to easily jump to information pertaining to the screen you are currently using. The software allows tracking for all processes throughout a job and eliminates much of the scrambling that is present in quick turn prototyping. Absolutely all of our needs are met in this software and more. The team was also great in implementing our cloud based server on Amazon Gov cloud to help us meet ITAR data security requirements.

CONS

No con's that outside of minor personal preference.

Reason for choosing ProShop ERP

The cost very reasonable and there was no customization required for our process.

Reasons for switching to ProShop ERP

We switched from E2 due to the limitations the software offered. As our company grew E2 became cumbersome. We wanted more from a ERP software and E2 is a decent system but the work around's and walls we hit became to numerous to tolerate.

Proshop has helped us work on the right project at the right time.

We have had a great experience so far. The training was far better than what we got from our last system and when you have a question they get back to you fairly quick.

PROS

I like that the employees on the shop floor can add information to a part for setup/part production themselves instead of finding a supervisor to do it for them. We also like that it makes folders that are linked to the part in the system so we find that we don't loose any CAD or CAM information anymore. We just started using the tool module and linking tools to parts which has been helpful to be able to order the correct tooling before the part is ready to run on the floor. Employees have said they feel more comfortable with the complicated parts having the part check information at their finger tips anytime they run a part. We are no longer looking through folders with projects in them to line someone up with work. Now, they look at their schedule for a work center and they know what to do next. It has all the information there for them to make decisions too when it comes to schedule.

CONS

The learning curve... There is so much here that some of the shop floor guys took a bit to get it figured out and how everything talks to each other. One other thing I like least about it is that it is hard to tell how many hours are available for a machining center in a certain time frame. While it lines employees up well, it doesn't give schedulers a lot to work with.

It wasn't meeting our needs for a few reasons. Things as simple as making a single WO for a part that gets used in multiple places.

Small shop, Large Vision

Lost work orders are a thing of the past. The ability to work thru different portions of the software thru with just a click away. They are helping our company to a PRO!

PROS

With this software, we are performing proactive responses and communicating more precisely, which saves time. Working thru the software is so easy and smooth. We can do more with less staff.

CONS

Too much information. With any new software change, there is a learning curve. It takes some some to adjust.

ProShop: Our Competitive Advantage

The product is fantastic, and the support is even better. The sheer depth of ProShop and it's ability to handle complex manufacturing situations is amazing. They seem to have thought of everything.

PROS

ProShop is the basis on which our company is built. From Day One, RXI implemented Proshop to help us obtain and maintain ISO:9000, AS9100 and ISO:13485 working standards and certification. The way ProShop works for our business is definitely our competitive advantage. We know EXACTLY what it is going to cost us to make the customer's product and we can decide, based on several factors, how we want to price the work. When it's all done, we know how well we did.

CONS

It would be nice to have a CRM built in.

There was just no comparison between what ProShop does and what the competition advertises it "can" do... ProShop's QMS integration is amazing and their professionalism and support are truly world class.

Overall a great experience with Proshop !

PROS

Proshop is in all in one tool for our business. From quotes to cash Proshop does it all. This software helps everyone from the office to the manufacturing floor get the information they need to do their job. We finally did our first quality audit with Proshop and it was a breeze.

CONS

A few hiccups as with every ERP but the customer service make up for it 10x. If you have any questions they are there till help.

If there is a superhero for software, Proshop is it!

Proshop has empowered management and employees to take control of our open order backlog and have visibility on capacity and to aid in the identification and resolution of bottlenecks in the manufacturing process. In the last two months our past due orders has decreased by 31%! We are well on our way to having on-time delivery in the 90th percentile in the near future.

PROS

Proshop gives substantial visibility and management of open orders, scheduling, time management, machining capacity and full visibility and control over profit margins. The software has many other features that set a company up for success such as training, quality control, time management, inventory management, ability to eliminate tribal knowledge and so many more. The organization of the software is simple and easy to use. I also love that the company is still small enough that you know everyone. You get to know and work with the same guys that you started with post implementation.

CONS

For the most part Proshop is very easy to learn and is user friendly, however, there are some of the advanced features that require some specific training and knowledge to fully understand. You learn all that in time. With that said, Proshop has a training and support ticket system that is exceptional and they are always there to help.

Proshop has everything a company could need to be successful and the support team is incredible. The software modules fit our industry needs precisely.

After looking at several ERP and scheduling software packages, we narrowed it down to two options. Proshop seemed to have everything and more to allow us to meet our goals and included on-site training and implementation. Proshop hands down was the better option.

ProShop is Truly Superb, WAY more than an ERP Package, Nothing else even comes close! Value++

I learned a great deal more about how the entire company gets things done.

PROS

So much information with such little effort. Once you understand how the software propagates your data everyone everywhere across your facility has live up to the minute data. We're talking paperless! All your data is current, Live scheduling, perfect history tracking, it's also a time clock system. You get live feedback on how your progress is currently at all stages of production. Every department across the company uses interconnected modules that auto fill information throughout the company. It has an internal mail system to easily reach anyone at anytime. I don't have to walk all over the plant to get a simple answer. The fine crew at Adion Systems has thought of everything... Did I mention Paperless! No travelers to get all dirty or lost. No more wondering if I have the most current print or current anything for that matter. The only information available to you is the current version. All the information anyone needs is simply at your fingertips. If you're going to collect data it might as well be accurate data and this is as close as you're going to get. ProShop is very informative and helps facilitate all aspects of the company. Job descriptions, training modules, full cutting tool library, Measuring tool calibration. It's Awesome!

CONS

If you are not use to a data driven system it can take a bit to learn but it's well worth it. You'll find things go much smoother.

The best ERP system on the market!

I don’t want to write a novel, so I’ll make it short and sweet. ProShop has saved tons of time with everyday processes, and has enabled growth in numerous aspects of our company. Being a machinist on the floor all day, I use the software numerous times a day, and the ease of access to information is seamless and very accessible. I’m able to update workholdimg specs, suggest process developments to my higher-ups, import images and files for reference tools, and so much more. This has definitely changed how I do my daily tasks and has improved work ethics for me personally.

PROS

One of the best things is the fact it’s cloud based, so I can work from anywhere and get things done without being tied down to a computer at the shop. In addition, the Support team is great resolving questions/queries that may arise. Easy to click and navigate, and hyperlinks all over that link to all kinds of part, customer, or work order information.

CONS

Being only able to upload one image at a time can be annoying at times. Editing file names that are uploaded needs a little revamping so you don’t have to checkout all the time to shorten the link name.

Powerful Software

ProShop has helped with profitability as well as OTD. We went from 76% OTD in early 2019 and 4 months later we reached 99.8% OTD and have maintained it ever since. This has opened more doors and opportunities for more work and new customers. Which means growth. This software made it possible.

PROS

I really love this software. It is designed to be a paperless system which makes record keeping much easier. Very user friendly to navigate through. It is Internet based so you can upload pictures and videos to a specific job or operation. Job costing works live all throughout the process. Machine efficiency, utilization and indirect time are very easy to track. Very easy to create your own search query and pull very specific reports that may be unique to your business. It goes on and on.

CONS

The scheduling function was a little cumbersome to use. It was difficult to re-arrange for the order desired. However, the latest upgrade corrected this problem and now has a drag and drop function that makes this process much easier and streamlined.

Outdated system. Having a lot of server issues as well as customer service issues.

long time ProShop user

I have been running ProShop for 4.5-yrs and have come to depend on it as much as any other asset in my business. ProShop significantly reduces time consumption in all aspects of manufacturing management from quoting to planning to purchasing and on through all needs of machine shop operations. Because this system is web based it can easily be access from any computer/tablet in the business. There is no more need retain any paper documentation as all information is stored digitally, and can easily be accessed. My shop is quite small and I primarily make tooling and prototypes. Often times I have many dozen, and occasionally up to several hundred, open work orders and I would not be able to manage this amount of work without ProShop. I have, and will continue to, recommended ProShop to any machine shop interested in optimizing their profitability.

PROS

Easy access to every piece of information in your business instantaneously. No need to hunt through filling cabinets, searching for a print from last year that had a note on it that you need. Within just a few seconds you can pull up any job you have ran and all information about that job is right where you left it.

Amazing program

I began using Proshop about 3 years ago. The goal for the shop that I work at was to become AS certified and more efficient in our processing of orders. Pre-Proshop for us looked like excel spreadsheets that took hours upon hours to manipulate and keep up to date and also physically chasing orders through the shop. This was companywide from PO entry to shipping. With Proshop we are now able to see the data we need automatically updated at any time with minimal effort (pick your search criteria and hit enter). This data is input by taking system wide entries. With Proshop we are able to see where a job is at at any time by searching the Work order number. With Proshop we were able to accomplish our goal of becoming AS certified in 6 months after implementation. If you are a manufacturing shop I strongly recommend that you speak further with the professionals at Adion Systems as this product will surely be a turnkey solution for your needs. -Robbie

ProShop keeps everything at your fingertips, and all of your history easily accessed.

PROS

Everything is in one place... purchase orders from customers, orders to our vendors, packing slips, work orders, contacts. It's great.

CONS

I find the advanced search function difficult to use. It is not very intuitive and sometimes cannot find the items I am searching for.

We're glad you find it helpful to be able to access everything you need to keep your customers happy in one place. The advanced query functionality is extremely powerful which means some of the query syntax can get a bit complicated. If you ever need some help or training on making a query please just reach out and ask. Our support team would be happy to help you make one, save it for your future use and we never charge for that type of support. And you'll be pleased to know that pretty soon we are releasing en entirely new indexing engine and visualization capability, so making reports will be even more powerful but much easier. And the new visual charts and graphs will provide all the data you need in a very visual dashboard.

ProShop for wire harnesses

It is a lot of upfront work but really speeds the repeat orders. It has speed up our Quality Audits.

PROS

The quality standard, manual, tasks and training all link together. Document control is a big help. Equipment list to track maintenance and calibration.

CONS

Needs a lot of updating from machining needs to wire harness needs. We have not been able to link our request for quote through our website into ProShop. We need to manually input them.

Excellent ERP Software

Not only part traceability but "User" traceability which holds accountability to each user. We have found that our reporting is easier, our internal auditing is easier due to all the reporting which we sample audited to verify if accurate and it is. We are hoping to learn more each day and believe that we are only utilizing about 60% of its capability so far. We implemented the software July 1 2018.

PROS

The drill down to follow the trail, the traceability of each transaction and the built in QMS -- Most of all the SUPPORT is beyond anyone's expectations. We have used other ERP software before and found the support to be very limited.

CONS

At first it is all overwhelming to anyone as there are so many views and options. However, once you begin to see how it works, you start catching on.

ProShop in a Student-Run Manufacturing Business

As a result of implementing ProShop in our student-run manufacturing business we have seen a dramatic increase in efficiency and less mistakes being made. We have also been able to easily adapt ProShop for use in the graphics side of our business, in addition to manufacturing and engineering.

PROS

ProShop is a very robust ERP system that is intuitive to use. The primary users of ProShop in our student-run business are high school students. They can pickup the basics of ProShop very quickly once they start using the system.

CONS

The immense amount of functionality in ProShop is actually a slight con for us, though it may be a pro for most manufacturers. The sheer amount of features made it intimidating at first glance but this is the case with all ERP software I have seen. After using the software, we found it very intuitive.

A Game Changer!

The ProShop team has been great. There are there for us whenever we need them. The software has helped us become more efficient in many areas from estimating to production. We are able to keep track of where jobs within the shop and when they are out for outside processes. We have a much better handle on the actual cost to produce our products, which among other things has made us more competitive. All this and we have just scratched the surface on utilizing all the ProShop has to offer.

PROS

Estimating and cost analysis. It's helped us to more accurately estimate the cost of the fasteners we manufacture.

CONS

Lacking some reports I'd like, but features are constantly being updated and added.

Top notch software.

We finally have a tool to effectively transfer and store information between all departments of our company. With ProShop at our foundation, building our business will be rock solid.

PROS

The best part of the software is how easy it is to move between the features. All of the information you would want about a part or process is never more than a click or two away. I also like how scalable it is. It works for a company whether they have 3 or 300 employees.

CONS

A couple of the modules could use a little refinement to bring them up to the same standard as everything else.

Proshop is the best software to become AS9100 certified

Customer service and implementation has been fantastic. Most software companies worry about the sale and leave out to dry after you are bought in. Going on 2 years and we have the same support as we did at day 1.

PROS

Once you start integrating your process into the software the system becomes easier to use over time. It keeps the entire company connected on all tasks and jobs.

CONS

It is a very daunting software when you first begin but once you start using it gets easier

Attainable, powerful ERP for small companies

It's great do do business with a company that is so customer-focused. I feel like a part of a community, and I feel like the ProShop team cares about our success with their platform.

PROS

ProShop is highly capable today, and the company strategy is clearly focused on customer-driven innovation.

CONS

Switching from another ERP system is always difficult, so the implementation process takes considerable time. ProShop's implementation team is excellent, though, and the process has gone smoothly.

Reason for choosing ProShop ERP

The ProShop team and leadership clearly have a focus on their customers, giving me confidence that the platform will serve our needs in to the future.

Reasons for switching to ProShop ERP

E2's pace and direction of development didn't match the growing needs of our business. We had unresolved issues with the performance and capability of the software, even after support requests and paid implementation consulting.

Amazing Customer Support

We looked at a few different programs before deciding on ProShop. The deciding factor for us was the customer support available with the program. They are very hands on and prompt when questions or issues arise. Not to mention the fact that they welcome ideas and suggestions that will help improve both their program and productivity for your company. Adion Systems is a great company to work with.

PROS

That we are now able to keep track of the work coming in the door.

CONS

There is no user manual.
