This software helps us to achieve a quality and complete management of the entire product life cycle, from design to distribution. It has modules such as bill of materials management, where we can have a supply chain, suppliers and sales of all types of materials.

It has a complete work management, where we can plan the production, create designs of the products to be manufactured, detect problems for their solution and much more, so that the product is produced on time. It also has quality control tools to ensure that the entire product manufacturing process, up to its sale, complies with the highest quality norms and standards. It allows collaboration with suppliers, where we can know prices, compare offers, see purchase history, and choose the best for the manufacture of our parts.

It is a rather complex software that requires previous knowledge in the supply chain and engineering, to learn how to handle it quickly. The interface design, can be overwhelming at times, so a simpler design, focused on the information needed, would avoid distractions, but this is just a personal opinion. I would like the software to come with more support material, to make installation and configuration faster and easier.

Teamcenter made my life so easier, because before it was very common to lose a file, or its location. With Teamcenter everything is easy to find, to edit, and to find out the changes (reviews, log, who made the last modification, etc.).

Teamcenter is so easy to work with. It has many useful tools for managing drawings, 3D models, NC-programs, used in engineering projects. The files are stored very securely. Everything is well integrated.

When working as a DBA, sometimes it's difficult to delete some 3D models or drawings (I need to close the app and open again to solve the problem).

I barely like something about this program. It is a good tool to process multifunctional and complicated tasks within worklife.

It is very complicated, confusing and un user friendly.

Although I haven't explored all of the features this software I can say that it does the job quite well. You can manage the life cycle of the product. What I expect from this kind of software is easy management and it does the job without giving you any headaches. In a few usages after you are introduced to the software you can understand the way it works and start feeling comfortable with the tools.

2 things come to my mind; most of the default screens are to "crowded" and it takes some time to understand the error messages once you made a mistake using the function.

With Teamcenter software, more than one people can work on same data with same time and Teamcenter is easily control this complex process. In the multi location companies this is a huge problem and if the people don't know about the latest version of 2D or 3D, It may cause wrong updates on the data. Teamcenter solved this potential errors very easily also very user-friendly.

Sometimes the interface works very slowly and it is very annoying but it happens very rarely. Also, sometimes software closes suddenly.

I'm just using it to store the pieces I design. It is easy to follow the design process with the teamcenter, but the tools to get reporting in excel should develop a little more. Also great with vismocup

The numbering system is great. The structure management module is very handy. Successful in working with other systems and software of the company

The License price is very expensive. although there are many advantages, bosses do not want to pay.

I personally recommend this application if you want to analyze complex 3d data models

This program is very useful while complex 3D data like passenger cars. It shows quite fast even if you fully open a model with exterior, interior and powertain components.

If you start this program newly, its very hard to get used it. The educational modules im the system is not sufficient enough

Very easy to use compare to other programs. as a exhaust system engineer, it is helping to me see details and make some updates (open/close some sub-components , seperate them and see them respectively

when you forget to log out and turn back to program after several hours, it is going to offline mode and you cant use it before close/open again

Teamcenter is a main part of our working days in automotive industrial.

Our company have been using Teamcenter to view 3D and 2D CAD models. It is easy to use. Most of tools like transformation, section or movement works very well.

When you click to big data to open, it may causes an error and you need to close the program and re-open.

Various platform supports; web (thin-client), and desktop. You can reach to system whenever and wherever you are.

You need a lot of training and practise to be able comprehend everything and take of advantage of all features.

It is usefull service for us. I was supplier viewer before and it is easy to learn if you are supplier viewer. But after i complere my designer viewer training, i found terminology and steps are complicated. There are too many things to learn at tce.

I use it every day at work and it is one of my best service. It is user friendly and capable to work with catia v5. Measurement, color, alignment, jack tool etc. is very useful. Especially jack tool is really important for our ergonomic studies. It is commonly used program at ford global and makes our assesment easier. There are many tools which I do not know how to use, but I really want to learn like motion tool. It s a plus to know tce very well if you are at automative industry.

Sometimes i can not measure an edge or point. That is related with catia designs i believe but it makes my work harder. I was supplier viewer and now i took my designer viewer access and complete my training. Training of tce is not very helpful if you are beginner. Also release and frozen, item, item revisions etc. Seems to me difficult to learn now due to complicated names and steps.

The system is a complex structure for beginners. Without a short training can be difficult to use the program.

As engineers you can rely on how this software keep all the data accessible but in a controlled manner.

It is perfect to keep all information about parts, designs, 3D models. You can assign tasks for review or approval.

It is not too user friendly, it is a little bit complex amd require a lot of exposure to understand what can be done, where and how.

It enables me to review 2D/3D data easily and quickly navigate through as I evaluate.

It has a wide variety of integrated tools such as dimensional measurments, 3D comparison an even motional analyses.

Depending on how much data one wants to review, it might use a lot of PC memory.

I use Teamcenter everyday to convert my design data to product data. It is so useful for big companies because you should work together simultaneously.

TC should improve itself because it is not user friendly.
