Excellent Software and Staff
HA has made life at Tolchester much easier. Managing reservations is fast and accessible to the entire team. The renewal process, which could take week before, now takes less than an hour. The HA team is also wonderful to work with; they are responsive to new ideas and support queries, and have even added small features upon request to make my life easier. I highly recommend them!
PROSIntuitive UI User-editable map Unlimited Users Multiple views/presentations of information. Multiple ways to enter information that propagates across the whole system. Batch renewals make annual contracts fast and easy.
CONS"Lookups" added by users from other facilities can sometimes make selecting vessel manufacturers cumbersome.
Reason for choosing Harbour Assist
HA checked all the boxes we wanted in a product. One of the most important boxes we looked for was a dynamic marina map, which is something many products don't feature, but HMS and HA do. We also wanted something that could help manage our entire facility, and HA includes all of its features immediately, as opposed to products that require purchase of additional modules for different aspects of the business. HA also allows for unlimited users, unlike many products on the market. The HA team also focuses on innovation and constant development, a philosophy that I found very important, as much of the marina industry is stagnated by outdated schools of thought.
Reasons for switching to Harbour Assist
HMS was hosted on a local server and was often slow; switching to a cloud based solution was a priority for us. HMS's UI was also dated and often cumbersome, and information did not propagate properly from section to section. We wanted something with more speed, ease of use, and mistake-proofing.

Must booking and reporting agent for marine leisure industry
Implemented over a 12 months ago and certainly no regrets. System is becoming more useful day on day and the development is still continuing. There would be no reason to move to any other system.
PROSGUI is fantastic, well laid out and very user friendly. Workflows to achieve tasks are well thought through and compiled. Customer interaction with system through portal saves alot of staff time and increases efficiency. Reports allow you to see live, what is going on in the business.
CONSTook some time to implement, getting data input right and staff using the system properly. This is the case with all new systems though.

Harbour Assist has revolutionised how we manage our marina
We have been with Harbour Assist for over 2 years now and it has revolutionised how we manage the marina, allowing us more flexibility, and control over the information we need. Harbour Assist is easy to customise and has allowed us to expand and diversify the business.
PROSHarbour Assist is very easy to use, it has allowed us to simplify many of our admin tasks, saving us time and allowing us more time to manage the business. The customer service from the Harbour Assist team is great, they are very quick, professional and extremely helpful. Harbour Assist has allowed our team to access the information they need in the office and on site, whilst keeping information secure in the cloud. Customers love the online portal, allowing quick and easy access to their invoices, payment portal.and more recently a new booking request feature for boat yard services.
CONSThe reports on Harbour Assist are great however one improvement would be the ability to customise reports easily on the system.
