We have been very frustrated with lightspeed over our 26 years of doing business with them.

The customer support has gotten worse each year since we signed up for it.

Very poor customer access for support,  lack of training options , lack of new features training, etc.

I love the help option and the live support. Procedures are easy to follow and fairly easy to locate what you are looking for.

It is a great program for the parts department, inventory management etc. Also the customer support  is usually excellent.

Also, customer service availability is limited and often have long wait times.

I like that we can customize our Desktop with the most relevant individualized information. I like the custom tabs for each individual user.

The integration of the different department operations and functionality are better than the competition. We have the cloud solution and it works seamlessly.

As a Parts Manager I live in data and the reporting is a huge help in managing our inventory. The labels are easy to create and special orders have the last name which helps the techs.

The system can to bog down, and there's occasional loss of connection.

I am familiar with all options and in spite of shortcomings I feel lightspeed is the best.

The best quality of Lightspeed is the integration between Sales, Service, Parts and Accounting.

The ease and efficiency of the Get Help button is amazing. You don't even have to pick up the phone.

My only gripe about Lightspeed is you are not able to delete errors sometimes. The way everything is integrated stops you from deleting mistakes sometimes.

Our inventory still does not function properly and getting pricing added we are nickel and dimed. The software is not intuitive and is difficult to use.

The customer support Lightspeed offers is unlike any other software support I have ever experienced.

They provide good training modules. Almost anyone who is computer literate can complete the training and be able to navigate this product.

It has saved us an enormous amount of time and helped us to clean up a lot of financial vagaries.

Very user friendly in regards to reports that can be drawn up to gather sales data for inventory purposes and also to track sales per individual part.

Implementation of new features including Extra Cost Add-Ons is Terrible. Things don't work as represented, and then you can't get decent support to get things resolved.

We use the reservation function and it is so so difficult to use a product you have NO support for.

When we find something about the program that we find difficult it is hard to get a change made.

Much of our administrative frustration stems from the poor training and, admittedly, our staff not making much of an effort to learn and do their jobs properly.

A lot of it is trial & error, as the wait time for customer support can take days, if not longer. The community section is very helpful to find others in the same situation.

Doesn't integrate with non-lightspeed IP Phones. Has many failures for smaller business versus bigger businesses.

I have found several operational difficulties and submitted requests to have them improved and none have been addressed. Monthly maintenance cost is outrageous.

It is really useful to the daily  input of the Business and easy to manage different aspects of the program. We are getting ready to go all in on this program and we are excited.

Getting information from lightspeed, everyday we put in so much information but no way to extract it to make quick decisions that affect the business.

Strong inventory and cost accounting management.

Have not used the system and found anything that I dislike as of yet.

Some short cut operations went away with nxt to evo making evo a little more difficult to navigate.

Very pleased with the ease and overall product of lightspeed.

You always get a knowledgeable person, in a timely manner, on the other line that will help you solve whatever the issue may be.

There are no features for easily changing a customer work order into an internal/sales pay work order without rewriting the complete work order and moving parts and labor manually.

Spend a shit ton of money to have zero customer support.

Reporting is n sufficient. Many basic features are missing from this software.

Lack of choices with the credit card gateway was disappointing.

My favorite feature is one glance reservations. Being able to see customer, reservation and payment info all in one screen is helpful.

The quick and easy use of shortcut keys, or clicking through menus, either way - too easy. The team at RMS are always very helpful and cheerful.

By switching to RMS we brought our property management software costs down significantly and also increased functionality.

All-rounder PMS Software with fantastic online channel integration and automation.

The experience is excellent, especially when working with the rep in the UK support office - he is always a joy to work with.

Ease of use and quick to enter reservations into the system. Local based product and good support.

As stated above, I find it easy to use and when there has been a problem or something I have needed help with, the service has been great.

The triggered correspondence and ability to send SMS to our in house guests are great features. Some of the reports are very helpful.

If you want reliability, accuracy and performance you need to have the best you can - for us that is RMS.

Clean screen and in and out screen are easy to view and understand what is happening in house. Fairly user friendly and I like how their are multiple ways to do one thing.

The lack of words for symbols/buttons written in the software.

Positive best system that I have ever used just easy to operate.

I like the full integration and triggered Correspondence.

Cost effectiveness and ease of use are what we like most.

Any question has been resolved very easily. I recommend this software.

Excellent system and the service from support staff is 2nd to none - helpful, friendly and most importantly for me patient and responsive.

The Help you actually receive @ the help desk. They are always polite, helpful and follow through with calling you back if need be.

I have very happy with RMS as it meets all my requirements and the support is superior to other channel managers and property management systems.

The layout is very crisp and clean. There have also been some pretty interesting work around processes for our unusual organization.

It is clear and easy to use once set up, the day to day functions are good.

I like the Tariff Manager and ability to pull a variety of reports. My new managers have never worked with it before, but are really impressed by what it can do.

Pos integration is excellent. Customer support is fast and knowledgeable.

Their support crew are the best. We thought our last PMS was good, these guys are a level beyond and it's all included in their package price.

Not being able to tokenize something and pre auth at the same time. Looks bad when swiping guest card twice.

There is nothing that I can condider that I am unhappy with or does not meet my needs.

Integration - easy to use- everything is on one screen for the guest information.

It stays stuck on somewhere in Florida, which is frustrating when you try to tell the weather to a guest.

We operate boutique hotels and are able to save and easily access all guest and account info to provide the highest level of service. Lon in tech support is the best.

Sometimes the software will freeze during checking in our guests which can be frustrated. And I will have to restart the program.

Plenty of features for managing property and freedom to customize settings, including the rate tables and periods. Built-in POS for ancillary transactions with integrated accounting.

When setting up deals etc I get totally lost. Need a manual printed so we can follow steps.

I like the ease of use by the various staff who need to access it - from reservations to reports. I also like being able to get in touch with someone in customer support quickly.

It's also very user-friendly for those taking reservations and the ability to easily take online reservations is great.

Customer service is above expectations and it is easy to understand the whole system however more OTA integrations are essential.

There really are so many options that sometimes I get confused going through them all.

The utilities processing is fantastic on RMS as I can do all costs eg, service availability, usage and sewerage usage with just one process, could not do this with our old system.

I have encountered a few problems that stemmed from the way I set up our system.
