The platform has a variety of features and capabilities, making it easy to streamline nearly any process or workflow you can think of. I think the flexibility of the forms is a strength and makes the not-so-techy person feel empowered. We have also found the AI helper Podo to be extremely helpful. It also immensely reduced our reliance on paper forms by allowing us to move applications, onboarding documents, and other workflows online. It's super user-friendly and they make it easy to collect, manage, and report on your data. If you can picture a workflow and want to streamline it, Jotform likely has a form, tool, or workflow that can help you accomplish it. #### Cons Like any software platform, there is always room for improvement. One challenge we encountered was that on the Gold plan, the HIPAA features could not be completely disabled on all forms. Even when a form did not collect PHI, certain reports still required password protection when downloaded. It would be helpful if these security features were optional for forms that do not contain sensitive information. Another challenge involved the identity verification process for a visitor sign-in/sign-out form. End users were required to complete CAPTCHA challenges/games and other verification steps to confirm they were human, which created additional steps for patrons who simply wanted to sign in or out. While this was ultimately resolved by verifying users through a valid ID and a photo of the individual holding their ID, the process initially felt cumbersome for our use case. One more challenge we encountered was with the Jotform Sign feature. The file size limit for uploaded documents was restrictive, allowing uploads of only up to 10 MB. So larger documents could not be sent through the platform. We work with lengthy packets and a larger file size allowance would be beneficial. Due to this limitation, we ultimately used Dropbox Sign, for our documents. However, I am sure that they are working to increase the size limit. #### Reasons for choosing Jotform The features and the flexibility of the forms. I created the jot form and made it available for my lead workers to fill it our for each worker. It made things easier than recording each review by hand. Our account is a nonprofit account, and I couldn't change it, so I wasn't able to integrate payment in the form. Our customers are still having to pay their membership fee in a two-step process as they were before we used Jotform. While I liked the conditional logic and found it fairly simple to set up myself, it would have been better if AI could have helped me out with setting up more of those conditions. I would tell it what I needed it to do, it would tell me the condition was set, but then I would preview the form, the condition did not work, so I had to do them manually. #### Reasons for choosing Jotform Because it offered the specific combination of advanced features we needed, like custom branding and conditional logic, within a truly functional free plan that outperformed other major competitors. While I wish that Jotform allowed more submissions on the free plan, they really outrank their competitors, many of whom only allow 5-10 submissions. It also stood out because it was the easiest site to build the application on, it was easy to customize it and make it our own, and the conditional logic that could hide/show questions was a big help. #### Reasons for switching to Jotform I did not actually use Mailchimp before. I had to select an option here to be able to submit the form. We relied on good old fashioned paper and the U.S. Postal Service.
