The "Tinder" of Concept Testing

Overall it's great! When we first started using Upsiide we had a ton of support ([SENSITIVE CONTENT] was amazing). The platform is easy to use and effective. Internally we call Upsiide "Tinder for Concept Testing" because it does a great job making concept testing an enjoyable experience for the participants and the researcher.

Pros:

The most important aspect of Upsiide is its accessibility and usability. The platform has a simple interface that anyone can pick up and use. It's also very easy to program surveys in non-english speaking countries.

Cons:

We had some serious trouble on a project where we leveraged Upsiides panel. The IR was lower than anticipated and our survey fielding was halted. We were told that the recruitment wasn't feasible which put us in a very difficult position. We would have much preferred a partner-like experience, where we could troubleshoot potential solutions together. I also noticed a change in the level of support we receive. When we started using Upsiide they offered a high level of personalized support, but recently they've pushed us to use their support system instead, which makes Upsiide feel more like a digital tool than a vendor relationship.

The analysis could be seen as a bit simplistic. It's a good tool to have the big picture but then need for more diagnostic to understand the reason why

Perfect tool for idea/attribute screening

We use Upsiide when we have too many ideas and little direction on how to narrow them down. This has proven to be a successful tool, whether it be for testing names, marketing taglines or RTBS, product features, incentives, etc. Our stakeholders find the outputs extremely easy to understand, but also very powerful in how actionable they are.

fast easy to use and understand delivers credible results

Cons:

expensive lack of possibility to reuse the already used data - e.g. kick off research with same benchmark but new innovations costs the same as a new research. does not work great on mobile. takes a lot of time to get the results translated into a presentation

Tinder for Market Research!

User-centric so we get better data to help make important business decisions. Competitively priced and can be scaled up or down in complexity based on needs. Quick to implement and get results... doesn't take a month or so of planning.

Very user-centric; ensures reliable data through engaging participants like human beings! Making it super easy and entertaining rather than the typical 5-point Likert scale surveys that no one in their right mind would do accurately.

Cons:

No cons; need more platforms like this. 95% of market research platforms are sterile and dry - this is the other 5%.
