  • Pros

  • Our sales team loves Act-On, and how much control they have over what they see, and we in marketing love the intuitive interface and the ease of setting up nurturing campaigns.
  • The product is good on its own, and it pairs nicely with Salesforce. The vendor is reliable and provides great service.
  • The team at Act-On are all so helpful. They're friendly, and they do everything they can to assist you and make you successful with the platform.
  • Cons

  • Locked into a major contract, which even with their lack of performance, is tough to leave. Their UI is really, really bad.
  • Overall I would give Act-On a low pass. The issues with customer service, slightly overpriced and the lack of proper development plagued my experience.
  • Unfortunently there was no integration with our Sage CRM so in ways we were automating but then just creating more manual work on our part because of the lack of integration.

  • I have to say so far, so good. My lead generation is set up automatically to save time, and if I have questions or things I like to improve, I can always send a request.
  • I love how seamless CoPilot integrates with LinkedIn. It's connected us to some of our best partnerships, clients, and new hires and has grown our network tenfold.
  • My overall experience has been great, we´ve improved our network approach and increased our audience significantly.
  • Cons

  • Only one thing - the Nurture campaign has had issues and I lost a LOT of time during the implementation process due to these technological problems.
  • Sometimes the messaging goes through my LI page or my SN page, but never both so that can be confusing, as I don't go to the dashboard often, because it is slow functioning.
  • Platform is integrated to LinkedIn which is a fundamental design flaw. Platform is dependent on a good Linkedin integration but, unfortunately the integration is poor.
