Pros
- My overall experience has been very good with AHREFS. I would recommend it for anyone wanting to not only learn more about SEO, but how to be more effective with their SEO strategies.
- I particularly like the backlink and keyword tools, and the competitive insights the tool can offer. They have a huge content base that supports you with your SEO efforts, which is a big plus.
- Ahrefs makes it very easy to get literally loads of very reliable and informative data which helps me to make the best decisions possible when it comes to SEO content strategy.
Cons
- I have found a problem with organic keywords that is they repeat the same keyword again and again on multiple pages. It creates a problem at the time of keyword researching.
- It's definitely an intimidating tool when you first log in. Because of the vast array of capabilities, reports, and tools Ahrefs has, it can be confusing to know where to start.
- We are looking for alternatives as Ahrefs keep have become extremely unreliable and unethical.
Pros
- A user and administrator/engineer, and Matomo is by far the best one, in terms of features, ease of use, integration, and tracking, absolutely amazing work by Matomo team, bravo.
- Matomo behaved as a quality alternative for content search on our intranet and has met our expectations with an excellent cost-benefit ratio and ease of use.
- Thanks to Matomo, we know how to improve the traffic on our websites. It helps us refine your communication with potential customers.
Cons
- Recurring error while trying to update or customize the tool.
- What we are still missing is the simple linking option with Google Ads and other PPC ad providers.
- After using Matomo for over 3 years, there simply is nothing to dislike about it. Any dislike that arises would be purely because of bad hosting or bad configuration.
