Pros/Cons
Pros
- The customer support is always there to help and even I have had the need to do a video call with them and went great. Lot of patience and very careful to satisfy our needs.
- I am totally happy with the experience with Amplitude. The tool is fantastic and has so many functionalities that make the growth analysis simply great.
- Offers a very generous free tier. I liked the Behavioural Cohorts as it offer key insights that help you understand exactly which are your best users and what makes them stick around.
Cons
- Like all data analytics tools, you can go horribly wrong if. You have the wrong events instrumented.
- The program is a little confusing to start using.
- When I started using Amplitude a couple of years ago it was simpler to organize the data how I wanted but now a days I frequently find myself lost after coming back to check app every couple of weeks.
Pros
- It has a lot of powerful features and potentials in showing data and making nice graphs/tables to show the facts/numbers that you want. It works way better and is way more efficient than Excel.
- Having switched from excel recently, Microsoft Power BI has been of great help. Having good visuals for data is a plus to us as an organization for they help do comparisons at a glance.
- One feature I like so much is the ability to import data from multiple sources. Also, the fact that there is a mobile version of the software makes it a wonderful choice.
Cons
- Additionally, there are times that my computer struggles to keep up with the program causing it to become non-responsive or crash.
- The dashboards and reports are limited in visual design, so they all look the same and quite ugly.
- Some find it too complicated to use and are intimidated by the format. I have not been able to find training for management on how to use a report that someone else with PowerBI skills created.
