Good software for corporate clients

I would recommend Constant Contact to keep a database for email blasts and for simple events (that don't require too many questions/details).

Pros

I think Constant Contact has made some amazing changes to their offerings over the years. They've kept their thumb on what's hot and what's not.

Cons

The editing piece of the email blasts can be a little temperamental, but nothing too terrible that can't be handled either.

Overall for the price Constant Contact will certainly help your business grow and is a key marketing tool.

Pros

Constant Contact is a software must have for advertising. Easily create, set-up, schedule and modify your e-blasts whenever you choose to.

Cons

I have not experienced any issues however I have heard a few things from our IT dept. regarding coding issues sometimes happening.

It is great for emailing large groups but is very time consuming

Pros

Great for large group emails where a set list of recipients can be set up. It is also nice to see who has opened it, clicked on links, or can not receive it.

Cons

It takes me at least an hour to send out a mass email that would normally only take me about 15 minutes due to all of the options and set up you need to do. You also can not email to certain individuals unless they are all in one group/list together.

Almost Perfect

Pros

Tons of templates, easy to get started, easy to see campaign progress, A/B split testing, social media integration, easy to manage contacts, and lots of other software integration.

Cons

This is almost a perfect piece of software. The big drawback is that the app isn’t great (which is almost forgivable). The worst part about the app (but not the only drawback) is that if you start an email on the app you can’t continue to work on it in a web browser. You have to pick one or the other. So if I’m waiting in line at the store I have to decide if it’s worth it to start my email using the app or should I just wait until I get back to my desk?

Does what it is supposed to, but price tag is too high for what you get

Good. As mentioned, it works well, but I changed software when I came into the knowledge of how much less you can pay for more robust options in the same field.

Pros

It works and does email very well- also user friendly and reliable

Cons

The price and lack of automation. Although you can automate basic things, it does not have the ability to use conditional logic to populate profiles and triggers dynamically.

Streamlined way to be in contact with your clients

We have been using CC for 3 years now and have been please with the updates. Customer service is amazing and has always been able to help.

Pros

CC has upgraded the image Library to hold 1GB of images. This is far more practical then the number of images limit previously.
Simple interface and easy design choices

Cons

I find the price for smaller lists (amount of emails) overpriced.
Editing a scheduled post is a bit annoying, un schedule then edit, then reschedule. Editing while remaining scheduled would be nice.

good for the money

Pros

It can make professional looking emails pretty easy with limited knowledge. And it's doesn't cost an are and a leg.

Cons

Sometime that functionality is cumbersome. Hard to find certain functions at times, like turning an image into a hyperlink. Also, unless you use constant contact's built in address book for you main contact management, it's hard to maintain/manipulate your client lists.

Great for small business and those looking to save some money!

Pros

Constant Contact is a great service for those who are running a small business and looking to stay in contact with clients, employees, vendors and their community. This software allows businesses of all size to send (relatively inexpensive) communications. Most times the mail being sent will not hit spam which is great!

Cons

It would be great if CC had the availability for more customization in terms of their offerings. I have not used the software in a couple years so I am sure there have been product enhancements in that time!

Constant Contact: Email Marketing Made Easy

Constant Contact is a GREAT tool for designing emails quickly and easily. At the retail establishment I worked at that used this tool, we were able to create beautiful emails announcing new products, inviting clients to events, sharing sale info and more. Constant Contact allows you to include video and links to social media, and comes with a plethora of premade templates to make things especially easy for users. The tool definitely saved time and money and was effective for getting people into the store to make sales. Constant Contact also gives you the ability to manage your email list, remove people whose emails may have bounced or who wish to unsubscribe.

Pros

Constant Contact is a convient way to create beautiful emails to send to a host of contacts. I have used the tool personally for email marketing for retail businesses. Constant Contact allows you to easily manage your contact lists as well as design beautiful, professional emails to send.

Cons

Some of the features are a bit hard to understand and take some practice to get used to. Changing colors of pre-set templates is difficult for a beginner. I also found that sometimes my emails would look different once I sent them then they did in the Constant Contact interface. These small changes weren't detremental to the email's message or anything and maybe customers wouldn't even notice them, but I found it frustrating having put thought and time into the placement of each item.

I love Constant Contact

Pros

Great marketing tool! I love the option to create your own templates or use the ones they have. Constant Contact is easy to use, even for new users. There are also tutorials available to help you along the way

Cons

Would be nice if it were a little easier to upload images, but the process it doable.

It is a close 2nd

Pros

While I have a main CRM at my full time position that has everything I need, my freelance job requires low to no cost email marketing for small business, so I tried Constant Contact when I got the offer for 60 day free trial from Hostgator. Constant Contact has beautiful templates and an easy to use interface. It is more than capable of doing what I need for email marketing and automation.

Cons

It is not Free for small businesses while there is another option on the market that is forever free that has the same features if not better. That is the only reason I would not chose Constant Contact at this point.

Pros

I really like being able to create polished emails and track contact lists for our organization.

Cons

I find it is missing little things, like being able to increase space between lines of text, etc. But overall, it has great functionality.

Constant Contact

I use this platform once a month to send out a newsletter for my company. I have also used for event invitations, surveys, and webinar invitations, so it's a fairly versatile platform. I do prefer it over Emma, Mailchimp, etc.

Pros

I evaluated three different email management tools before landing on Constant Contact. While most platforms are fairly similar, I thought CC offered the most professional looking newsletters and were easiest to build. One of their designers designed a template for us to use, and I highly recommend going that route if you aren't a marketer or designer and find yourself sending out emails for your company. The templates look great and are super easy to customize.

Cons

I sent out a few events invitations and didn't find them to look as good as some of the alternatives.
