Amazing! There are many apps that can do bits and pieces of what Elephas can do, but not all of it. Also, the utility of the super brains for so many different tasks, and the broad selection of different material they can include make Elephas stand out against any competition.

The indexing of pdfs into my super brains has been slow so far, but the team is on it.

Elephas combines many of the options that I was looking to solve with different online tools, and now not only it's combined into one, but it's working 'standalone' and 'inline' in my Mac applications. This is awesome.

I was very impressed from day one. This is one of the first integrated directly to the OS tools that I have seen on the market in regards to artificial intelligence. And it’s incredible.

The amount of features that it has and how it directly integrates into the OS is incredible.

The only complaint I have is that I wish I had a longer subscription or free trial!

Overall, I've been very happy with it. I work in a foreign language context, and it helps me make sure that the text I produce is using appropriate collocations, etc. given the context. It is like having a native speaking assistant at my disposal at all times, and I don't even need to feed him.

Elephas gives me easy access to GPT services and includes an ever-increasing array of convenient built-in tools. Furthermore, the developer is relentless in adding and refining features.

Many of the best features are hidden in submenus that are hard to find, and sometimes new features are difficult to understand, even with the helpful "onboarding" videos.

Elephas is an incredibly useful tool. It is built into macOS, making it very easy to integrate into existing workflows. It also provides a great chatbot front-end for chatgpt, making it a great way to automate tasks and streamline communication.

Elephas is a great tool, but it could use some improvements. The lack of an auto-update mechanism is a bit of a letdown, and the UI could use a bit more polish.

I like the continue writing, and the rewrite feature the most. I really like how it integrates seamlessly into Mac OS - and hope it stays lightweight and minimal. Hotkeys are great too!

I appreciate the number of utilities, but I worry there are too many, and the focus should be on perfecting a smaller set. I also hope it doesn't become too bloated with too many menus and animations.

Elephas has empowered me to work more quickly and efficiently, and to keep me moving at times when I would otherwise be stuck. It's helped me rewrite my portfolio, bio, write social media posts and create case studies, figure out a plan of action in solving complex problems, and generate ideas I wouldn't have thought of otherwise. Not to mention, it's totally streamlined my email and message replies. It's been a great compliment to my workflow in MacOS, and has just become part of how I work while staying out of the way when I don't need it. I'm not sure it can get much better than that!

I love Elehpas' features. It was pretty quick to jump into the AI game, and I was an early adopter. I was surprised with every update, as they always included something that felt fresh and new—even within the broader AI landscape. Customizable writing tones, configurable datasets for the AI to work with, and preset actions were some of the features that really impressed me. Outside of that, it's insanely convenient to have AI at the ready no matter where you are in your OS.

I've had no issues with Elephas from a functional standpoint. I think there are a few UI things that could be tightened up—like the Diff Viewer and maybe the chat window—but it's more than functional. Could just be a little prettier sometimes.

Elephas gives you a lot of content to work with compared to free online tools. The new brain creation tool is great, and really allows you to emulate particular styles of writing.

It is prone to repeating itself, and can often just write the same article twice with only the subject keywords swapped out. The custom brain tool mitigates this somewhat.

It’s been a good product so far. There are still improvements that need to be made, but [sensitive content hidden] is fast to iterate and continues to improve.

I love using the smart write feature to reply to emails and help me write out documents. I have found it to be a great time saver.

It can sometimes be buggy and will take a few attempts to get an appropriate output. Sometimes I will use smart write, and it will paste from clipboard vs creating relevant content.

It's also helped me creating Google Sheets formula which is amazing. Saved tons of hours so far.

I discovered this tool thanks to a friend and have become my Swiss-knife tool for content creation and AI productivity assistance. I like the fact that you can create brains, bringing your own data, and chat with it, as it was some sort of Yoda character. This is a game changer. I guess it can't be avoided, but API calls to OpeanAI results being quite expensive... but I guess it's the price to pay for having a customized brain at your service.

It's a fantastic app for managing text: translations, rephrasing, fixing text, and more. I switched from another popular app and I'm extremely satisfied. In addition to this, it appears to me that it holds great potential for advancement as an AI tool.

Maybe the product should focus on improving its access and functionality as an AI general tool, if that's what the developers aim for, but for now, it's already great.

the brains that you can create from information you have already created and then interact with, is one of the most brilliant features of any AI I have come across. you can get new perspectives on information that you have already curated, only helping expand what you can do.

the user interface has a fairly steep learning curve and isn't that simple to interact with, sometimes a feature like rewrite will completely change what I am talking about to a degree that removes all of the important topics I am trying to write about.

There are loads of AI app cropping up now - the unique feature of Elephas is the "super-brain" - that it can store your documents for querying, rather than needing to upload them one by one each time you want to reference them.

The user interface isn't quite as slick as I'd like it to be, I didn't love the constant hover pop-up over every application, but I'd expect this will be refined over time.

I love that it’s embedded deeply into all my macOS apps. There are several powerful browser plugins but the only work in the browser. Elephas works in every app I use on my Mac!

The learning curve was a bit steeper than I expected. Not necessarily the software learning curve but the learning curve to properly prompt and use AI in general. I watched several videos and tutorials to learn how to prompt more effectively and it made a huge difference. To make the most of this app, take the time to really learn how to use prompts and how to chat with AI.

I have found it to be one gf the key success factors for my new business.

The capability to handle more contact, deal with more emails and refine my content has been a real help for me as I set up my new company. It is intuitive and learns as it goes.

Presentation mode is light at the moment and the ability to import current presentations to make better ones would be an improvement.
